Amazing birria ramen and I was delighted to find two bonus quesabirria tacos in my order. A huge amount of lovingly made delicious food that came with chips, as well as green AND red salsa. The service was wonderful, and the value is unbelievable. Can’t wait to go back to support such a great local business.

First time coming here, got 2 Lengua(Cow tongue) Tacos and 1 Pastor(marinated pork) Taco. Good flavor,and worth the price, came with lime and delicious green and red sauce.
I did NOT like the chili con queso, tasted like watered down Velveeta. would not recommend queso, but definitely would come back for the tacos .

First time trying this place! As soon as you walk in, you can tell it’s family oriented and a small locally owned business. Love that! I ordered the chicken chalupas. The meal came with refried beans and rice. I ordered a side of chips and salsa too. The price was little much for the two chalupas and chips. The overall meal was fine. I love chicken flautas, they were lacking just a little bit of flavor. I will say, for a Mexican restaurant I was not impressed by the red salsa. It was very watery and very little flavor. The red salsa is the only thing I’d say that really needs improvement.

Went for my birthday. Wanted something close and I’m in a wheelchair. They were accommodating. It is a small restaurant, in a strip center, but we enjoyed it. We all ordered something different and they were all good. The price is what you’d at any good Mexican restaurant, but worth it for the food and service and closeness. But we will go back and even try their delivery and take out.

Pretty good option especially if you live in the area. Order quesadillas for my kid and he really enjoyed them. I had nachos locos which had fajitas, cheese, beans, guac, sour cream and pico. I do wish they used different chips than what they serve with the salsa. They are thin and get soggy from all the ingredients. The green salsa here is very good and I would return just for that.

Taqueria El Pavo Real is a sort of hidden gem on El Dorado Blvd. near Zabolio Dr. in the Clear Lake area. I ordered tacos to go and to my surprise upon arriving to pick up my order, there was only one table dining in the quite small dining room with a max seating of no more than 50 people. When I was able to eat my tacos, to my surprise they were better than most other places in the area. The meat was flavorful, tortillas cooked right, and the jalapeno sauce for the street tacos was made to be intentionally hot and flavorful, which is my favorite way to top my street tacos.
Along with my 4 tacos, I was given some complimentary charro beans that were packed full of flavor and the ingredients were rather crowd-pleasing, meaning I don’t think anyone would pick out any of the ingredients in odder to enjoy it.
To my surprise, a small bag of tortilla chips was included as well, which was just the right amount to ensure fullness and satisfaction.
I am sure I will return for more wonderful tacos soon.

So I was coming here when it used to be spring roll express . Then another place smh,now this is the new place we have to try! I heard about it through the “grape vine” and since it’s close to home and I love mexican food,why not ♀️To start,the decor is nice,you get a very homely feeling inside. The guy who waited on our table was very kind and kept making sure we were good . I ordered the birria tacos and my partner ordered the mixed fajita plate with some bacon wrapped shrimp. Also make sure to grab a cola BOTTLE because the taste is unique! Now off to the 2 cons..booths are way too tight, I’m chubby and had to move to a open table,I also saw people that were smaller than me move also so I wouldn’t sit there if your looking for comfort. 2nd con is I wasn’t too impressed with the refried beans,they tasted blan..I would have preferred black beans instead(cough cough lol). My tacos were very good and juicy . Will definitely come back and try their Asada! Posted photos of our food

We just happened to stop here for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! Service from Victor was as excellent as the food. There were several lunch specials and that’s what we chose to order. We tried 3 different meats and all were well prepared and tasty. The homemade salsa and the rancho beans were remarkable. We took the advice on what to order from another patron who says he eats there several times a week. He didn’t steer us wrong. We want to try the quesobirria next time.

Had breakfast here this morning. We ordered huevos/chorizo plate and a couple of barbacoa tacos, dined in. Small cozy little restaurant. Service was great! Food was great! We’ll be back!
