The food was phenomenal. It was Pozolero jueves and they had green pozole with all the accompaniments and it was the best pozole I have had. It was worth the drive I took to get there and try it.

I went here for lunch, alone. I really wanted soup so I ordered their caldo de res. It was good but imo it had way too much epazote. If you know what this herb is, you know it can be overpowering. Other than that the meat was nice and tender, veggies were fresh and cooked properly, and the tortillas were hand made. They have a nice salsa bar with chiles toreados, chiles d árbol dorados, salsa verde, roja, cebolla curtida, etc. I will definitely be back when I am in the area to try their tacos and gorditas.

One of the BEST Mexican authentic restaurant in the triad! Very small and limiting sitting. Food is made to order so take in mind that some orders can take long to make, totally worth the wait time for fresh & flavorful dishes. 10/10 recommend their tacos dorados, enchiladas de mole, pozole (only available on Thursdays) and mojarra are extremely delicious and flavorful. This place reminds me of the mother land for sure.

The food was decent. Little overpriced but we are used to that. Service was not friendly at all. Atmosphere was EVERYONE staring at you and barely any seating

I ordered “al pastor” tacos to go. They gave me beef. They’re savory, but a totally different flavor than the sweet pork I was expecting. Maybe white people aren’t supposed to know the difference or something. I definitely do. Had I caught it before leaving, I would have addressed it. Just make sure you check before leaving, because they can mix it up. Not sure if intentional or not, but she did repeat al pastor back to me. Only had the tacos and soda, no other items.

Maybe not the best-looking place. However, the food has never disappointed me. Everything is like homemade. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is definitely a place to check out. I love how the tortillas are handmade. That’s how you know is good.
