3.5 stars. First time trying this place. Ordered to go through Uber, so can’t comment on the service. Food looked very appealing. Carne asada nachos were good and HUGE order. My daughter and I shared and barely put a dent in it. Chips left a little to be desired, as they didn’t taste fresh at all (also ordered chips and queso- so had them stand alone as well). Queso was good, I’ve had better, I’ve had worst. Chicken quesadillas had decent flavor but I ordered them for my kids to split and unfortunately two bones were nearly swallowed. After that, I couldn’t even bring myself to enjoy their leftovers bc I was too apprehensive to take a bite. I may give them another shot and try some different things as the prices are decent.

Never disappoints! Best place to swing by for a quick bite. I suggest the beef fajita nachos, or bean and cheese tacos. I wish the Mexican rice were more authentic and didn’t actually contain corn. I’m accustom to tomatoes or chili powder seasoning being in rice but these almost tasted out of the can?
I love the owner, she’s literally a sweet heart, and so down to earth.. you wouldn’t even know she owns the place (along with her husband). The other employees are all sweet and very attentative as well. You get better service here than in the 5 star restaurants in New Braunfels or even San Antonio.

The employees are polite and friendly. The food is ok, as it needs alittle salt. The enchiladas have a good flavor and the cheese has a good texture. The fajita meat has good flavor, but can be a bit fatty. The use real skirt steak to make the fajitas. The chimichanga is a little dry on the inside, and the beans have a lemon/ or lime hit to them. The rice is ok, but alittle bland.

We came from ft Worth and wanted real tacos. We googled and found this hidden gem. The Machado n eggs were perfect, the chorizo n eggs delicious n chicarrones was delicious the service was wonderful. And that’s hard to find. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Monica was a sweetheart. Definitely recommend
