I’m beginning to love my time in newman. A kind of wild west near the bustle of the Bay. Although disappointed that the only decent eat I’m food in town are Mexican, I am pleased that there are some actual decent spots. This is one of them! They are famous for their quesabirrias and in particular the owner makes the most authentic and killer Birria de Chivo. Authentic tic Mexican Goat Birria. Wintertime awesomeness for my family we would go on weekends to eat hot soup and their homemade tortillas and cucumber chia drinks. This is one of my favorite gems. If you want a hot soup this is the spot. Regular food is ok…. but the quesabirries con consomme and their birria soup even the beef birria…. amazing!! Worth it especially for the price!!

Food was of excellent quality and staff was the kindest people i’ve met. They made sure we were well taken care of and would come to ask us if we needed anything. Aguas were not too sweet just perfect for me! Gaby treated us so well! Will be going back soon 🙂

The food is amazing. We ordered a little different off the menu and they made it just as we liked and tasted amazing. The service was fast and he was on top of it at all times getting what we needed. I personally know the breakfast cook and he’s always made my food good where ever he was working glad to have seen it was him making my food. I’d definitely recommend this place and will most definitely be back. Must try!!!

Best Quesabirria tacos in Newman hands down, the service is excellent and the place is ran by a very nice local family. Do yourself a favor and try the quesabirria tacos and experience the cheesy meaty goodness.

Amazing food! Took out my family for lunch and I’m thankful for them to have recommended me this place. Ordered 3 quesabirrias, 9 tacos and agua frescas. The food is fresh and handed it out quickly. The tortillas are the best, hechas a mano. The owner was very hospitable and passionate.

Took almost 40 minutes to get our food even though restaurant was almost empty. Burrito was mostly rice and mushy. Ordered a quesadilla with everything and just got it plain. Food was too expensive for what was given.
