Happy we found authentic Mexican food. You order at the front counter. The person that greeted us was so nice and helpful. Hot sauce is spicy and good with everything. There’s self serve veggies. Everything we got was delicious! We would definitely return.

Forgot to ask his name but the guy working the counter taking orders was extremely nice and recommended the quesabirria which is one of the best I’ve ever had (easily top 3). Food was hot, salsas were the perfect amount of spicy, and I believe it is family owned and operated which is always a plus. So excited to come back and try the rest of the menu.

I travel an hour to eat here because it’s the ONLY legit authentic carne asada taco joint in North Georgia. I’ve searched for 2 years to find tacos that remind me of San Diego Street tacos. Everything in North Georgia is “white washed”. I’m not cool with that, I want to taste the REAL meat flavor. Give me simple because that’s how a good carne asada taco should be.
The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly but to the point. Give me my food with a smile and I’m good.
I HIGHLY recommend this place for authentic tacos.

Our dog had just been put under for surgery, and we needed to snag a little something, and this restaurant is just a stones through from the Vet Hospital.
The restaurant decor was what you would expect. Although very clean, the lighting was way to dim for my liking during the day.
I got excited seeing a salsa bar, but could hardly see any of the sauces due to the non existent lighting and nothing was labeled.
I tried 4 of the salsa, some had good heat but the flavor profile tasted like dirt to me.
The server was very happy, always smiled and did her best to take our order.
Although both my hubby and I got meals that weren’t what we thought but we made it work. I feel the language barrier and poor designed menu descriptions caused this snafu.
The food took longer than we are accustomed to at tex mex restaurants, but still was able to make it all work.
All in all decent place but would probably only go again in a pinch.

Great authentic Mexican spot. The tacos are much bigger than you would expect and great for the price. I can normally handle four but I had leftovers after three. They give you a lot of meat and a lot of different options than you would even find at other taco spots. Carnitas and al pastor were my favorite but make sure to ask about the other options.

Best overall experience as soon as you walk in! Everyone is so nice and the food is soo good and it’s quick! I love the tacos, quesadilla the steak is soft and tender not like other taco places where the meat is dry. You MUST try the flan!!! It is absolutely delicious (I tried it freshly made and they were warm and they were even better!) it reminds me of a taqueria I used to go to when I lived in California. A must try if your ever in Gainesville!
