The Suadero tacos are delicious, and on Thursdays these tacos are $0.70 each.

Sometimes the portions are good others so so, but overall they have really good tacos.

The salsas they have here are amazing both the red and green salsa.
The grilled onions they cook are really delicious.

The server was very polite and attentive, great employee.

The service was amazing! The place was clean, but a bit hot. The birria tacos I got were so good! My husband got the Banderillas de bisteck y trompo and it had so much oil. My daughter got tacos de bisteck and it was DRENCHED in oil . My other daughter got the chicken tenders and it tasted like it was out of a bag, my little girl got a burger and it was sooooo good! Overall it just needs a little details to me fixed. I don’t think it was worth the $70 bucks me paid.

Food is good. A little over priced, no sides came with these combos. Clean dining area and friendly staff. I personally feel this is a one time place for us.

Great service, clean restaurant, and attentive staff. Food was so tasty and fresh. We loved the homemade taste of all the foods. We ordered the choriquezo appetizer and it was so good that our 6yo ate half of the plate. Frijoles a la charra were yummy and cueritos were extremely tender and not chewy. Impressed by the corn tortillas which had authentic mexican flavor and not your processed tortilla. The hubs was happy he finally had a worthy order of “al pastor” taquito w/fresh piña. Salsa was hot and full of flavor; not watered down or bland. The bistek in our order of taquitos was perfectly cooked, and every bite was satisfying. Srsly, good meat, not your 2nd rate stuff. Our kiddos always order lemonade and were happy it was an authentic agua fresca. Authenticity at it’s best. We’ll worth the price.

I was starving after a long day and this was a short walk from my gaf. And open til 11pm. I soon realized we’d been here before the pandemic locked us up in Missouri. The beef fajita tacos with flour tortillas were every bit as good as I remember. And the service was fast with English spoken. Looking forward to coming back.

I went to dinner with my good friend, we went to the Taqueria El Matador. It is located on Bicentennial just 1 block south of Business 83. The place was like stepping into a time machine and being transported back to the 70’s or early 80’s. It reminds me of the types of restaurants that were the norm back then in the RGV. Even the tables took me back, anyways, we ordered our drinks, they didn’t have unsweetened tea so I settled for a diet coke. My friend ordered the Jamaica tea that is ubiquitous here in the RGV. I ordered the Trumpo tacos and a baked potato, I also ordered a cup of beans but I never received them. My friend ordered the Pozole and the synchronosada taco. My tacos arrived and they looked real good were delicious, they came with diced pineapples, grilled onions, and chopped cilantro on the side. There were three different salsas in bottles to choose from, the usual green and red, and there was one red that was really mild and lighter in color. The lighter one wasn’t as good as the other two. The baked potato, I ordered with butter and sour cream only. I liked that the potato came with tostada chips, this was a first for me, and I enjoyed scooping my potato out with them. My friend wasn’t too crazy about his Pozole, he ended up taking it to go. He really liked the Synchronosada taco, he gave me a piece and it was cheesy good. All in all it was pretty good but not great, but the portions were good for the price. Would I recommend it, yeah, but stick to the tacos.

Tacos were good, but the smell of funeral was disgusting. This plant is not appropriate for a restaurant, the smell is awful.
After I finish eating I got nausea.
