I found a hair in my sons meal,MY 3 YEAR OLD, I had to pull some ladies blonde white hair out of his mouth. And when I called they couldn’t do anything but replace the food?She told me that their was a lady there with that hair color and length and told me I couldn’t speak to a manager because there wasn’t one. Be so real right now that’s ridiculous. And not just that it’s also disgusting. My FIRST and ONLY time because wow. Actually WOW. (PSA I HAVE BLACK HAIR)

For my first time, it wasn’t too bad of an experience. The food was good, I got Migas. The coffee was also good. Service was very good. The only questionable part is their bathrooms.

My fiance and I were craving so real good Mexican food and also wanting to try something new. Looked up some spots on Google and this place had good reviews and the pictures looked delicious!
That was an understatement. This food was absolutely amazing. The star was the Quesabirria plate. We’ve had a lot of Birria tacos, it’s one of our foods we have to try anytime we see it. Our favorite spot has been number one for like 5 years now, but this place TOOK THE NUMBER 1 SPOT! These are officially our new favorite Birria tacos we’ve had. The consommé was thicker than usual, thickest we’ve seen and is was DELICIOUS. We were dipping everything in it. My torta and the flautas. The meat in the tacos were thick chunks too! But still SO TENDER. The meat just fell apart so beautifully.
The service was amazing too! Super nice and made us feel very welcomed. Checked on us throughout our meal too. We never had to ask for anything. The vibe was cute and homie too.
Good prices too. All 3 of these items plus to drink ended up being $40. Which isn’t too bad now a days. We will 100% be back! I want to try their Menudo and enchiladas next. We are so happy to have found a good spot on our side of town. We are so full and so happy.

So sad about my last visit – I come to Houston about 2-4 times a year and this is the place I come to visit every time. We got our table and there was a German roach so the waitress sat us at another table. Then after getting our food there was a hair on my dish and the waitress inspected it and said, “oh yeah it’s in there and got fried with the food”. She was kind to bring out a new dish but I just felt so grossed out after both incidents and like I said, I’m sad bc I loved this place so much. I know Houston has great food so I’m sure I’ll find another good place.

I drive more than an hour just to go eat tripa tacos here they ask you how you want them i always say crispy and boy are they crispy best tripa tacos in town!!! Menudo is good as well and so is the agua de Horchata.

Went here for a friends birthday with a table of 5 people, we ordered everything as is no custom orders. And on the receipt there was a $13.55 charge for articulo personalizado( personalized item ) when we went back to question why we were charged extra we were told that they tip themselves a percentage automatically with tables of 6 or more. We then told them we only had 5 people and they said they take out tips with large tables. However on the receipt it was listed as a personalized item and not as automatic gratuity. Someone was not being honest. Mind you we also tipped them in cash for our meals. They said we could come back in a few hours to talk to the waiter that served us. But seeing as they weren’t being very honest with us we decided to cut our losses and leave. Yes it’s only about 14 dollars but it’s the principle of it. It should have been listed as automatic gratuity and not articulo personalizado (personalized item).

The best Mexican breakfast this side of I-10. We’ve been coming here for 10+ years. They’re consistent when it comes to the breakfast items. You can’t go wrong with any of their breakfast options. A plus side for me: their food is not salty.

I’ve had the pleasure of being helped by Vanessa many times, and I can honestly say she always goes above and beyond. She’s professional, friendly, and makes sure everything is done right. What stands out the most is how well she communicates in both English and Spanish, which makes a big difference for so many customers. She’s patient, hardworking, and always willing to help. I truly believe she would make a great manager because she already shows those leadership qualities every time I see her at work.
