Stopped by Taqueria El Habanero for some lunch. Went with a chicken taco supreme. Thought it was okay. Will likely try the fajitas or a different taco on my next visit.

I’ve eaten here before and picked up food today, but this experience completely changed my view. While waiting at the counter, I saw a roach crawling behind the bar where the tacos are prepared. This happened during normal business hours, in plain view of customers.
I was inside for less than a minute when I noticed it. Seeing any live roach in a food prep area is deeply concerning and unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. I recorded video of what I saw because customers deserve to be informed before deciding where to eat.
I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend the restaurant address this issue immediately to ensure a clean and safe environment.

This review is long overdue. I had Taqueria El Habanero cater tacos and plantains for company event. My employees who are very picky eaters absolutely love them. The luncheon was very last minute and they worked with me to get it done. Easily the best Tacos in the city would definitely recommend!

I ordered a shrimp burrito that was supposed to come with beans, lettuce, pico and sour cream with a bean dip. Not only did i just get a burrito with none of the listed sides i paid the up charge for shrimp! Which i don’t mind but why did i only receive 12-15 partially broken chips with my dip and i also had to wait an extra 20-30 minutes from the time given! Food is mediocre at best and thats why im giving it a three star! I think service could be better!
