The food is okay, but I wouldn’t give it 4 stars. There are some standout dishes, like the frank tacos, which I do recommend. They are a little on the spicy side, but overall, they’re good. I live just down the street from this place and pick up food now and then. I’ve noticed that some of their meat can be a little dry and flavorless. During weekday afternoons, parking can be a bit tight, so it’s good to plan ahead. I suggest calling ahead to place your order because they can prepare it in less than 10 minutes. If you walk in to pick it up, you might end up waiting a lot longer.

We got a California Burrito and some Tacos. It was delicious. They weren’t stingy for meat servings. The staff was kind and patient. We also got some horchata which was great. It’s authentic Mexican food. The environment is very down to earth, which I like. It’s a casual place to eat, and it’s still delicious. Would definitely come back

I always make a stop here because the corn on the cob is irresistible. The beans and rice are just as delicious and make the perfect combination. I have been coming for years and it never gets old. This place always leaves me satisfied, and I will keep coming back for more.

5 stars Meaty Fries, 3 stars chicken super burrito. Five stars for the carne asada nacho fries—absolutely god-tier and the closest thing to Southern California-style fries I’ve had, maybe even better than a lot of SoCal spots I’ve tried. The fries were hot, super crispy, and perfectly cooked. I did notice some liquid in the carne asada, which makes me think they might boil the meat, but I’d need to try it in a taco or burrito to confirm. Two types of cheese processed nacho cheese and melted real cheese. Despite being drenched in sour cream, these were easily the best “SoCal-style” nacho fries I’ve ever had.

As for the chicken burrito, it’s a solid three stars—pretty average. The pollo asado chicken was heavy on the black pepper, and the beans and rice were nothing out of the ordinary. It was also overloaded with sour cream, which made it feel a bit too heavy.

It has been a while since we have eaten here. My brother ordered his usual carnitas plate, I ordered chile relleno a la carte and an elote. The carnitas were a little salty but with rice, salad and beans balanced it out. The chile relleno was big, I was glad I did not get the plate with rice and beans. The corn was nice, a little sour, the cotija is usually the flavor that I like to taste. Service is nice and efficient. Tried tripas tacos, chewy but tasty. Came with salsa and pickled carrots and beets along with chips. My brother got a carnitas burrito. Tasty as well but he could not finish it all. Not too salty this time.

Wow, Amazing !
Just look at the size of this wet Burrito !
It was Soooo delicious. The green sauce was phenomenal ! And this meal as pictured with soda, chips, and side salad is reasonably priced for the Palo Alto area. This Burrito is so big, i will eat half for dinner and save half for lunch tomorrow. I recommend and will return for more !

Great Service, but its seem The food has no taste .. My buddy Nachos are dry.. My wet burrito very Liquidity and no flavor. My buddy couldn’t eat it and he just threw his food away and it upset his stomach. Seem like the food has been cooked and frozen and re-cooked. Very upsetting. 3 years ago it was great.

Lowkey I would not get the tacos, they were small with not that much meat in them & really greasy. The Jamaica is good though & staff is nice 🙂 Pretty affordable too
