I was looking for authentic Mexican food because there’s nothing good in Erie. I came upon this little place and decided to give it a try. I am happy to say that I found this hidden treasure! I ordered the tacos de carne asada, my daughter got the green chicken chile enchiladas and my mom tacos de buche with chorizo. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food 100/10! I will be back!

This place has has delicious food and drink! Their Agua frescas is our go to door dash order on a hot day! Everything we have tried for food has been excellent! Service has always been beyond great. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because the tables and decor could use upgrades. Other than that the place is 10/10.

Taqueira El Compita in Colorado has been a favorite of mine since they opened. I’ve tried many of their dishes, and each one has been delicious. The aguas frescas are particularly refreshing. Tonight, I had the shrimp ceviche, which was a perfect choice for my diet while still being packed with flavor. My husband ordered the chicken mole enchiladas; he was initially disappointed to find them topped with crema, which he doesn’t like. However, the staff offered to prepare it without crema, and he was thrilled with the change. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we both left very satisfied! Highly recommended!

We tried this place yesterday and it was pretty good for the price. My mom had the street tacos and she loved them. I had the carne asada and shrimp which was good but not delicious. The shrimp were a little greasy and lacked some flavor. All the salsas were so amazing though and the service was phenomenal. The place is small but comfortable. I would definitely go back to try other things.

Great location, great food, great service. The menu has plenty of options, take out was available upon walk-in which is great for the busy worker like me. We ordered quite a bit of food to go and the service was super speedy. The food is also worth mentioning because it was wonderful, we got two taco plates, tamales and a torta, the portions were huge and the food was hot and delicious. Definitely gonna stop back in and try some other options off the menu.
