I won’t lie, the second I stepped in to the restaurant it looked very hectic. We found a table, but it wasn’t cleaned up yet. A very nice lady saw us standing there and cleaned up quick. Our waitress took our beverage order, she was very friendly. Got our drinks super fast, even tho it was so packed! Our waitress took our order and 10 min later we got our food. We got the family pack of 4 which came with 24 tacos, 4 beverages, and 4 baked potato’s for $34.99. But before that, they gave us some delicious charro beans! Everything was so delicious, 10/10 recommend! Keep in mind, it does get super busy. We went there around 9pm.

No prices in the Drive-Thru menu. Extremely greasy tacos. I order them with everything however the onion was cooked and I prefer raw. I wish it specified on the menu or I had been asked about the onion. The green and red salsa was not good at all, tasteless. I had to asked for a receipt and it was not an itemized receipt, only the total. I don’t know what anything cost me. I will be reporting this business to different agencies. This is unfair for the consumer, especially if they are charging fees on debit cards, it is illegal.

I have come several times to this restaurant and everytime they get something wrong with the order. Then you tell them and it’s always the same response “we’ll we didn’t charge you,” That’s fine I will pay, but then you buy a taco pirata mixto of fajita and tripa for the taco to only have 2 pieces of tripa. I called and according to the manager (her name started with a D) that is what they are told to give as a portion. For 1 medium size taco for 11.99 and 2 pieces of tripa is a joke. This is my very last time ever buying for this place, back to Taqueria De Jalisco. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT EVERYTIME.

Am very disappointed with my order TO GO!!! Just look at the picture! How can they call this a potato with everything. I understand they in a hurry to make you food but the proportion is on call for!!!

We tried this place recently, we really liked the food, a little on the greasy side but the flavor itself was really good. The sauce complimented the flavors really well too.
Where our experience fell short was with the service. There seemed to be some confusion with the employees. We had a server take our order, then another server interrupted mid order, they had a disagreement in front of us, and then we had to repeat our order again for the new server. I’m not sure what the point of the disagreement was, the new server was not very attentive anyway. The whole ordeal was a bit unpleasant, but the food made it worth it.
I recommend the food here for sure. Next time I’d probably just get the order to-go though.

WOW!! Truth be told, I am not one to frequent ‘taquerias’, as I like to grill or cook my own; however, when friends of ours (from church) invited us here this past Wednesday, I knew I needed to return and bring my family to enjoy this food!
The beans have just the right amount of spices and pieces of pork in it, that result in such a delicious and very unique flavor, that want you asking for a second serving!
The baked potato with butter is so smooth and cooked just right, all you need is salt n pepper! The options available to top the potato are an added plus!
The chicken tacos with onions literally melt in your mouth, alongside the grilled onions and cilantro bits! I’m not sure if the chicken is marinated but the flavor is amazing.
Finally, the beef bistec tacos are tender, as is their ‘Taco Pirate’, and adding their green chili sauce is my version of ‘the cherry on top’!
I am wonderfully surprised and grateful for the customer service Mr. Octavio provided, as well as their Saturday staff. WOW! Thank You!

Best taco and DE Lonches in the RGV period. You dont like it will u should go to a white person taco place and get some trash but this is the real stuff. Simply amazing. Wife and I drive 9 hours every year to get the Lunches from here around Christmas. And if we ever come any other time we do everything we can to get here. If your in the RGV I urge u to go and try GODs Lunches. They are heavenly.

Great service. Attentive without being pushy and super friendly. They have a plate called the compadre. Two lonches , three tacos and beans. Everything was tasty with lots of meat.
3/27/23 Food remains consistently good. Expanded dining area provides a lot more tables. Favorite place for tacos.
