Tried for the first time and unfortunately won’t be back order a gelatina and prior to ordering i asked if it contained coconut and was told no that nothing they offered had coconut(am severely allergic to coconut) but that was not the case then when questioned was informed they did not have an ingredient list of the desserts as it was from another place not made in house. The food was good, but the service was poor. As we came in the cashier ignored us. It took a while for us to receive the food, therefore we had to ask the manager for it. Once we received our order, they didn’t even gave us tostadas. I honestly don’t recommend this place.

The flautas were great, I had heard from many people that la cometa was good. But only heard of them being in El Paso. So I was happy to visit this one and experience it. Felt like I was in El Paso again. I want to visit again on a Sunday to have menudo. But until then food is great. I highly recommend this place

I don’t know what is going on…but the restrooms were dirty…toilet paper everywhere and water from i don’t know where… but at least the guy that changes the airfreshner was on top of it…cause he interrupted me saying that he could not wait to change it

We are so lucky to have El Cometa open a location in Las Cruces! I used to drive to El Paso just for them! The best salsa and tacos ever, and the friendliest most welcoming staff, no matter which locations you go to. You’ll be seeing me often El Cometa !

Ordered $20 worth of tacos for myself because I didn’t eat all day and asked 3 times for extra salsa for all of them and only got 6 small containers half full. And to top it off the pastor smelled like rotten pork. This was at 8:40 pm.

This place has really bad service. They were literally out of almost everything. The food doesn’t have no flavor.They also messed up our order. We had to re order and waited 30 minutes for two regular tacos!!! We will had to asked for them twice and they still didn’t have them done! We just left without the tacos. We literally spend almost 100 dollars.
