My husband ordered a single chorizo taco here as part of our sampling of the booths at DeCo. He was so wowed by the good, tasty, authentic quality of the taco he wanted me to review it for him as part of the tour-de-DeCo, if you will.
Just look at this beautiful street style taco.
His main notes were that the chorizo had a lot of flavor, the sauce was great, and the flour was clearly warm pressed and maybe even made in house.
Highly recommend.

Located in a beautiful setting, fresh ingredients, fast service as well- but the food temperature could’ve been better to bring out best of flavors. It tasted much better after I reheated it at home. Idk about the “chingon” part in the name. lol

This place is absolutely amazing, the tacos are better than chipotle or any other fast causal place. After, The first time I had a taco, I came back the second time, a few weeks later, and ordered three. they even made me a special bowl so I could enjoy the pineapple pork in bowl form. One occasion when The staff messed up a previous order, as it was near closing time, the next time I came in they replaced the order for me. Love these guys!

I came here for the first time today I love tacos so I figured why not well to answer my own question this is why all you have to do is look at the pictures. I got all the way to the bus stop to catch my bus and I go to eat and low and behold first thing I noticed is there’s guacamole on my tacos. I kindly asked the young lady at the register that took my order that I did not want guacamole and as plain as day I watched her put no guacamole on my order the next thing I noticed was what was hanging out of one of the tacos which is also in the picture. I did not order a piece of hair with my food so that didnit for me. I threw away the $11.50 lt cost me to order the 2 tacos( I tipped the cashier $1.50,she deserved it because it’s not her fault my order was messed up) right in the trash. If I had the tine I would’ve definitely went back there, but I’m off work today and don’t want to spend it arguing with someone Soni just took the loss…. so beware of this place there workers most likely don’t understand english, the long black hair that most of them have was not in hair nets, and overall if you donorder from here please watch your food being made

Taqueria El Chingon puts out fantastic food. Quality far exceeds food court it sits in. Barbacoa is spot on, as is pork torta (with outstanding fresh baked bread roll). Love this place. Super friendly staff, fabulous food served quickly. 100% recommended.

The birria taco. Enough said.
Okay the shrimp and El pastor are excellent too. But there are no tacos but the birria taco for me anymore.

DELICIOUS! The Beef Cheek Barbacoa Burrito is to DIE FOR! Authentic and tasty, I could eat here every day. I’m also a HUGE fan of the Chicken Carnitas Burrito. The staff couldn’t be friendlier. I will be updating my review as I try more items from the menu.

For a counter service place, this stop at the DECO food hall has great value without compromising quality. Various options for folks with dietary restrictions. Buen provecho!
