Good atmosphere! Food was out of this world, a little hidden gem in E City, NC. The tacos, were full of flavor, plenty of proteins and fresh tortillas. My wife had the beef enpanada was out off this world. Delicious, every bite was amazing! We Highly recommend it, stop by.

The best tostones that I ever had on the States. Best food in town by far. Every time i eat a Tripleta, chuleta “pork chops” or the tostones brings me back to my roots. PUERTO RICO.

First time visiting and loved the food. Good portion, flavorful and made to order. Staff is super nice. Clean establishment. Love the detail of the flags. Definitely will come back. Churros were hot and yummy. Wish they were filled with Bavarian cream but they were good!

Welcoming and cozy atmosphere. I came between lunch and supper, so there were just a couple of people there. The place was clean and the tables weren’t sticky. The seating was very comfortable. TV’s posted along the walls. The menu is hanging on the wall, but it doesn’t show everything they offer. The lady handed me a printed menu, but it still didn’t show everything. After I placed my order, I saw a whiteboard on another counter that showed additional items, but I couldn’t read it due to being small & bunched up. So I ordered 4 carne asada tacos, the Cuban sandwich, and a carne asada torta. Tacos = recommend Cuban = husband said it’s nothing special, it’s like a club sandwich ♀️ Torta = it’s good but next time I want to try something else. When I asked the girl at the counter any questions, she didn’t know. She wasn’t new. She just didn’t eat there (she responded).
Cute, cozy, clean hole in the wall place.

Tried this place for the 1st time. The Cuban sandwich was very good. The chicken empanada was delicious (along with the sauce they serve it with). I had to throw the taco away. I couldn’t bring myself to eat the meat that appeared to have too much fat. I may try again with a different meat. The churros were okay, but weren’t freshly made. The service was excellent.

I tried El Bori for the first time and it immediately brought me back to my days growing up in Puerto Rico. I ordered the pernil sandwich with rice and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pernil was tender and well-seasoned, and the rice and beans tasted exactly the way I remember—comforting, authentic, and full of flavor.
If you’re looking for a spot that serves real Puerto Rican and Mexican dishes prepared with care, El Bori is definitely worth a visit.

The best Taco spot in E City! The tacos where amazing and I was excited to see they have Al Pastor fresh off the Trompo! The salsas are also delicious and if you order in, they hook you up with some appetizer sides like chips, jicama, cucumbers, radishes and potatoes.
Make sure to try their Agua frescos, they let me try their lime and Agave , so refreshing!
Over all the atmosphere the service and staff were amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.

This cozy place is full of flavor and amazing customer service. This place is home to my coworkers’ family, so we had to stop by when we were close by for a job. The place and vibrant and welcoming. The decor was fun, and there was a smile on everyone’s face. For lunch, I decided to try the steak sandwich and a beef empanada. My coworker got the Cuban, shrimp empanadas, and a taco. Everything was amazing! The food was hot and delicious! My favorite was trying all the different sauces! I tried at least 4 different sauces, and they were all good. They ranged from sweet to really spicy. Mm! I can’t wait to go back. I can still taste the empanadas and sauce in my mouth! If you’re looking for an affordable lunch spot in Elizabeth City, give them a try! If you’re not in a rush, sit in, but if you are, call ahead! This place gets busy!

I got the chicken torta and it was the best I have had in a long time. The flavor was so good, chicken was tender, fresh and full of flavor.

We LOVED this place. Service was fast and friendly. Tacos were perfect. Flautas were perfect. Empanada was straight FIRE (aka it was 10/10 and you have to get it). It’s clear this place cares about the food they make. We will be back!
