After church and craving for a burrito and knowing options were few at this time of day got us stopping at Taqueria Dos Hermanos for the first time. Local, authentic Mexican restaurant in the Red Hill area offering made from scratch, homestyle Mexican food like tacos, quesadillas, gorditas, burritos, salads, fajitas, drinks, ice cream and much more. Casual dining offers a festive, open floor plan with padded booths and padded chairs and tables. Warning: restaurant’s own on-line order site is hacked as both my phone and my wife’s phone received error messages. In fact, trying to find a complete menu was a fail resulting in me just walking in and ordering. But besides that, we were more than satisfied with our takeout beef burrito packed with flavor, fresh ingredients and grilled golden brown on the outside. Service was friendly and cost doable.

Fantastic Torta. It’s massive. Easily share if you’re not overly hungry.
Get a beer to go with it. Pairs.
Takes a bit of time to get, even with the place not being very busy.

I came for chili relleno and I was not disappointed. Also was steak perfectly cooked and prepared to order. The fact that they did not have Margarita was overridden by the fact that the food and service was spectacular

Chips burned, drinks forgotten. Service very slow, and chicken tasted of artificial smoke. This made me sad. Used to be very good.

This place was terrible. Honestly, the worst Mexican restaurant that I have ever been to. The service was awful, the choriqueso tasted rancid, and my tortas, pictured below, was the worst. I literally took three bites and couldn’t eat anymore. The bathroom had no soap and no paper towels. Stay away!

The restaurant and food are alright but the service is extremely slow and doesn’t seem like they know what’s going on. It was empty on a Friday night, which is already a bad sign. The waitress asked us what ice cream we wanted so we answered vanilla and she replied “we only have strawberry”. When I went to pay I saw a huge selection of ice cream. We weren’t given silverware with our food and had to go up and ask for it. I asked what an item was that they were promoting at their table and she said “I don’t know”. To put the icing on the cake, I bought a tiny lollipop for my daughter and they charged me $5!! Go to El Patio or the place right next door.
