Clean and respectful. The chip bar vegetables was fresh but the chips were not. Quesadilla was soggy and way overpriced for everything. But the street tacos were delicious but you only get two. And very little extras on the side. The fajitas were good but overall not worth the price. Definitely recommend if not so expensive and the quesadilla wasn’t so soggy was even properly fried it seemed like. Will not be going back. But on the plus side the people were respectful and it was clean.

Ok, it’s over, the search is over. This is the BEST mexican food I found since I moved up north from San Diego. I live an hour and a half from this place and EVERTIME I drive near here I’m stopping.

The chips are made fresh in the store, they are perfect. The salsa bar is crazy good, multiple green salsa formats, a pineapple Pico de Gallo is really nice, and the Habanero is not too hot (most likely for us who can’t eat a ghost pepper). This time I decided to do the tacos, all of them. I ordered one of each, the mexicana is like a street taco. I’ve been to Mexico and Tijuana and these are exactly like them, fantastic. The super soft taco was good, large portion, and the shredded lettuce overflows lending to a couple tortilla chips to clean up the plate. The birria was great, cooked perfectly and the dip was juice from the cooking of the meat like an aus just for a taco. My favorite was the crunchy taco, it held together well but had a great crunch, the shell was perfect and the portions were on point.

I love this place so much I couldn’t help but allow myself to go a lil piggie. I got back in line and ordered two Mexicana tacos to try the shredded chicken and pork meats. The shredded pork beats the chicken hands down.

I don’t think you can order wrong here, it’s all FIRE!!! If you live near this restaurant you are lucky, I have to drive an hour and a half but it’s totally worth it.

Amazing shrimp cocktail. Taco salad was also great. The grilled chicken was very tasty. We ordered way too much food! The portions are really good!

This place has the best Mexican food that I have had in ages! There is the most amazing self-serve salsa bar with hot chips and a large variety of choices, including their sauteed or roasted jalapeños which were out of this world! I went to the counter to ask them how they made the peppers so sweet & flavorful. They gladly shared their secret with me – so now I know but I won’t tell ;D I ordered 2 crispy carnitas tacos with rice & beans, and my sweetie ordered a carnitas plate and two Coronas. The plates were large and filled with delicious food… we had to get a take-away box when we left. We live in Yreka but come to Redding often for doctor appointments. I can’t wait to come back again to my new favorite Taqueria!

Never disappointed…By far the most authentic and best Mexican food in town! Not your basic chain restaurant…They are mom and pop style with a south of the border flair. Be Salty and eat at Dos Amigos.

Overrated. Overpriced. Fake Taqueria. Food came out pretty fast. You’re a sucker if you come here. More expensive than a restaurant. Hard, loud metal chairs. They do have a few TVs with sports. Rip-off. Mediocre portions for how expensive it was. There’s other taquerias in town that are way better than this one. I feel like they’re laughing at us from behind the counter because of how much they charge. Food tasted decent, but I couldn’t enjoy it because I felt like I just got scammed. Bamboozled. Yeah, their salsa bar was pretty good…but that’s it.

Chimichanga tastes good, not over fried.
Jalapenos in the self service area tastes also good (not too salty).
Overall, the food is good, and the staff are very friendly and wear smiles all the time. The dining environment is clean.
The only food not too impressed is probably enchilada.

These tacos hit the spot! We had asada, birria and lengua tacos. The salsa bar was a nice touch. They had grilled onions and jalapeños, and had several levels of spicy salsas. The chips were crunchy and freshly made. The agua de piña was perfect!

Me and the fam have been in Redding now for 7 months and have been on the hunt for great Mexican food spots. I think we have found gold! Service here is on point and and the food is incredible! I ordered the wet burrito with green sauce. I ordered it with carne asada and carnitas with beans rice and all of the fixings. We also got with al pastor and bean. I thoroughly enjoyed their horchata and aqua Fresca drinks. It’s so far my top two restraints to visit in Redding and am still on the search. If you haven’t tried it yet definitely support the local family businesses and give their food a try.
