Best tacos in the Research Triangle! My husband and I are super picky with Mexican food (We are from NYC and CA where the Mexican food game is strong!). This place has it all! Handmade tortillas, fresh flavorful proteins including hard to find cuts of meat! Authentic salsas and accompaniments the service was great! Very kind and welcoming staff, clean eating area. Wow I can’t believe it took us so long to find this place!

It’s a food truck in a parking lot with a few wooden picnic tables. I recommend pick up. But I really understand the crowd and long lines. Great food! Really nice staff too. The orders are filled quickly. Did I mention the food? High quality, authentic Mexican. Loved it!

I wouldn’t normally stop here, I mean it’s not even a food truck but a food trailer in the parking lot. However on the suggestion of a friend we stopped to try it out after a day at the Eno Quarry. Like o said it’s an enclosed trailer with 4 yellow picnic tables available for eating there. It’s a basic menu of nachos, tacos, burritos and tamales which you pick the protein. We’ve been twice now and each time have ordered chicken nachos (yummy), tacos of varying meats and the tamales (pork and chicken). These tamales are genuine, homemade and amazing. They have a small selection of bottles drinks to choose from. It’s in the parking lot of a medical supply business. It’s really a best kept secret that I’ve been exposed to. The 2nd time we went we took friends which they enjoyed too.

The best Mexican I’ve ever had. I’m from Pittsburgh and decided to stoop past this food truck. I got all tacos, Al pastor, steak & chorizo. Then two orders of chips & queso. Everything was DELICIOUS. Thank you so much!!! I will miss this place when I head back to Pittsburgh. A gem!!!

Have driven by this place for 6 months and there is always a line. Finally bit the bullet, pulled in and waited in the line. Moves fast! Ordered the Shrimp/Veggie Quesadilla. Absolutely delicious! Came with avocado slices/lettuce/pico and green salsa/sour cream. New weekly stop! They have bottled Mexi Cokes as well.

Good food. I tend to prefer eating cheap and groceries, so while this did the job, I bet I could have gotten the job done cheaper if I’d just picked up some things from the store. Nothing against this place in particular, if you think this score is too low– this is how I would review most similarly priced restaurants.

Not very good. Visited several years ago and the tacos weren’t good. Decided to give it another chance. Ordered the carne asada. The beef was overdone, rice portion was small (they might use an ice cream scooper to measure it out), forgot to include the tortillas. Luckily I’m Mexican, and have tortillas for emergencies.

I wouldn’t recommend it(based on my experience) if you are looking for some good quality tacos. I had Tongue and Pastor tacos and they were not seasoned enough, quite dry and they were small portions. Salsas were not tasty at all, but they weren’t horrible either.

The best taco truck in durham!! The quality of the food is so much better then what I’ve gotten at any other truck or Latino/ Hispanic restaurant.
