Som of the best tacos I’ve had. We had carnitas, al pastor, asada, and pollo and they were all incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The tienda also has a great selection of Latin foods, snacks, and drinks at a great price. Having lived in Central America, going to Taqueria Crestwood was super authentic.

Delicious authentic Mexican food at an affordable price point. It’s definitely worth it if you like to support local places that really know what they are doing and make some good food for the community. It also functions as a little bodega where you can get a variety of Mexican products.

This place is so good I decided to start learning Spanish so that I can tell them I love it correctly . My friend that lives in San Diego told me no way it’s as good as stuff back home for him, he never stopped talked about it after we ate. My son and I go every chance we get, the grocery store (supermercado) is nice too. They now have a meat department that I can’t wait to try

I can’t really rave about the food from my experience. Between all of us, we got three Carne Asada, a chicken taco, a cheese, quesadilla, and everybody got a side of rice and refried beans. The refried beans were very watery and were a hint of purple, I’ve never seen them that color before? The cheese that was drizzled on top was barely melted and actually kind of cold and the rice was just that, rice. But as far as the main dishes, I couldn’t say that they were the best in Crestwood. They were all right, but not really the best. The service was really quick and the little shop inside was nice. I would definitely come back just for the shop, but not the food.

Found this gem by chance on a day trip with my mom, we are AZ natives and just moved to Cincinnati from Brownsville TX and have sincerely missed good food we grew up eating! WOW!!! NOT ONLY was the food fantastic, the portions were enormous for the price, they have a wide selection of Hispanic snacks, spices, chilies, masa, and the best variety of drinks I have the hardest time finding!! Absolutely blown away by this restaurant and the woman working was so warm, welcoming and kind.
We will definitely be making the 1.5 hour trip again specifically to eat here! The al pastor is perfection. We were too excited for our food and I forgot to snap pictures

I knew as soon as I walked in and saw the menu primarily in Spanish that the food would be good. It was fantastic. Fresh-chopped pico. Fresh guacamole. Chips still warm from the oil. Soft corn tortillas.

I’m from San Diego (home of incredible, authentic Mexican food) and I’ve been struggling to find a good burrito for the past 3 years that I’ve lived in Louisville – not even joking. There are some chains I really enjoy such as Taco City and Bandidos, but it’s not the same authentic taste I’m used to. I’m here to say I’ve FINALLY found my go-to Mexican food!!! Prices are very reasonable and the taste is authentic. It truly reminds me of home. This was the highlight of my weekend and I’ve been telling everybody who will listen. Will definitely be back soon!

Sensational!
Had the Al Pastor and Barbacoa tacos—perfection. Can’t wait to return.
Edit:
I’ve been here so many times now and it’s awesome every single time! Tacos are always perfect, tortas are generously sized and so satisfying. And so much more to try! Just had the melon juice—WOW.
Also the grocery is so nice, great product, and the meat at the butcher counter always looks excellent.
