This is a food truck next to Exxon gas station on Germantown pkway, that’s why there are three stars for the atmosphere. Not the best place to sit and eat since there can be mosquitoes and flies around, so we got the take away. We tried the birria tacos, the barbacoa tacos, the chelita tacos and the chelita fries. Probably one of the best I’ve eaten. We will be going back for sure. A must try!

I’m so disappointed! I normally go here for a great chimichanga platter. I never have any issues. But this has to be the last visit, I was in the middle of eating and felt something very hard. I spit it out and it was a screw! I just can’t believe this. Be careful if you’re eating anything.

This was my first food truck visit in the city, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated that they gave out buzzers so you could relax in your car while waiting for your order!
I came mainly for the Birria Tacos with the dipping sauce. Unfortunately, they were a bit of a letdown this time, very mild in flavor, even with the sauce. It almost seemed like the seasoning was forgotten, and the shells, though fried, had become somewhat soggy by the time I received them. Hopefully, that was just an off day because I really wanted to love them.
On the bright side, the Chicken Quesadilla was fantastic! Perfectly seasoned, hearty, and packed with flavor it completely made the visit worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back to give the Birria Tacos another shot and will update my review after I do.

This is one of the BEST and most unacknowledged tacos in Memphis! Go to Cordova now and try the birria tacos with the consume! These are a MUST, and honestly as good as or better than some of the other more hyped birria tacos in Memphis. Their regular tacos are great too. And well served. Highly recommend the red salsa with these. And lots of lime. Add lime to the consume as well. And wash it all down with one of their horchatas!

We were on the hunt for some good tamales this holiday season. We tried 4 other places before we passed by Taqueria Chelita on Germantown Parkway on NYE. It’s a food truck parked at the side of the Exxon gas station..We didn’t eat there but they have a few picnic tables set up if you want to.stop to eat. We got “chicken tamales with green sauce.” These are by far the best tamales we have had. They are a good size, have lots of flavorful and spicy chicken in them and the mass is not dry. We got their medium tomatillo salsa and avocado sauce to put on them. Delicious!

As a person who eats taco trucks around a lot of places including Memphis and Little Rock this one was disappointing. I got the Gordita and the bread was so thin and dry I assumed it was a taco shell holding it together. Also it barely had any meat and was loaded with toppings. The rice is super bland as well. My fiancé got the Quesabirria tacos and he said they were okay but he had to drown them in broth for flavor. I did try to contact them to remake my Gordita but 2 tries no call. So I am leaving a review

We came across this taco truck while visiting Tennessee the food was fantastic. I would say the most flavorful Mexican food I’ve had since moving to the area.. if you’re ever in the area make sure you stop by and try it out… I ordered a vege burrito and if you like spicy get the hot sauce.. they give you a small container of sauce of your choice.. the hot sauce was just right this will be my stop next time I’m close by

First time here today. I ordered the birria and chelitas tacos. They were excellent, to die for!! They had a good amount of seasoning, unlike other food trucks I’ve been to in the area.
Service was superb too, and the gentleman who took my order was very polite and helpful. Wife and I are definitely coming back.

We went here the other night. The tacos we’re very good!! I was impressed with the taco platter, which comes with rice and beans. In all reality the food was very good, sitting on wood tables in the wind was not comparable to going out to a inside restaurant for over 35.00.
