Tacos and Gorditas are very tasty. My favorite was the chicken, we also order a quesadilla. Which is very delish.
They serve good quantity of food for the price
I forgot to take pictures

Taqueria Charly #2 is one of my favorite spots for Mexican food in Dallas. It’s tucked away inside a gas station, but honestly, you get some of the best Mexican food at places like this. They offer a California burrito (a nice touch), the dishes are consistently good, and the service is quick and friendly. A great 24/7 option for a reliable meal!

This place is so good, I wish I could hide it from everyone haha! Tacos, burritos, tortas, it doesn’t matter what you order here. You’re going to be beyond satisfied. I’m obsessed with the salsa verde!!

I am excited that I have found this taco shop relatively close to where I work. If you truly like secret food spots that the average person is not going to find, you have to add this spot to your list. That does not mean that it will not be busy, because once you have had their tacos once your will be coming back. Today was my first time and I realized by the time I was done eating that I will be heading back next week.
I got two tacos to give them a try. I chose to get a carnitas taco and a barbacoa taco. I took them back to the office, open my container, and tasted the meat by itself. It was amazing! The meat was juicy and flavorful on its own. Once you add the onion and cilantro, drizzle it with a little of their amazing hot sauce and you are in heaven.
My only regret is that I did not get a Trompo Taco as well. Something to look forward to next week!

Not a single item in this menu will disappoint you!! My personal favorites include Trompo burger, Trompo burrito Trompo fries, chilaquiles, 3 taco plate, . Wish they’d get out of the gas station though and be able to buy my drink from them instead of having to do a deportation transaction for drinks. Item pictured is the Trompo burger

As a dedicated customer here for 2years,I choose to cater here for an office party because I believe they have the best barbacoa in town. Unfortunately, this time around was not so great. I ordered 2 pans of barbacoa ($38) and 1 pan of carne asada($19). Instead, I got one of each with the 3rd pan being onions and cilantro. I realized I was shorted a pan, I was told 2 was combined into one pan. This was totally wrong. I even purchased 2 more pans of barbacoa since the first order was enough. This was my favorite restaurant, but now, after being shorted a pan of pre-ordered food, I will not be returning.

Outstanding tacos and burritos!
Heard about this place from a co-worker and it delivered the goods! Tucked away inside a Valero gas station along North Belt Line, the food here was as advertised. Tacos were fully loaded and very tasty to the point of giving Fuel City a run for its money. Will be back to try the quesadillas next week.

Hot damn this was delicious! Best tacos I’ve had since, forever?!
Will definitely be stopping by for more whenever I’m in the area.
So if you’re looking for some amazing authentic tacos, I highly recommend it.

Guy is very rude with the music blasting loud so if your ordering food he gets annoyed that you don’t yell over it. If you speak no Spanish he seem even more aggravated. I also observed the meat sitting out exposed to the public. They do not give you enough salsas even though I asked the disgruntled worker. One star…
