Even the final request for a to-go bag was ignored twice. We had to ask a third time after watching our server go behind the counter and then fail to return with it.
We were excited to try a local spot, but the food and the inexcusably poor service were completely unacceptable. I would choose Taco Bell over this experience any day. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Today’s visit started out great…..good server and very tasty food….THEN came the check and things went downhill quickly. The check reflected an extra charge of $9.00 ADDED to the listed menu price for “beef fajita” quesadillas. When questioned, waiter asked the cook and returned with the excuse that beef fajita prices have gone through the roof. Inquired as to why the menu price did not reflect the “new” price and response was “working on that”- guess they didn’t know that white out and a pen is a quick temporary fix until new menus come in, or better yet communicate that verbally to customer. Asked to speak with owner-not there- then manager (owner’s son apparently) but manager stayed in the kitchen and “hid” behind his waiter sending him out instead of speaking with me directly (maybe that’s why they have signs scribbled on paper taped to door “help wanted. Finally removed $6 of the $ 9 dollar “upcharge” and I paid. Waiter offered drink refill (since I paid for a to-go cup) and then commented that they normally charge for “to-go ice tea refills” even if you eat there but he “wasn’t gonna charge me”.
If you chose to eat here…..CONFIRM THE MENU PRICES BEFORE YOU ORDER.
Rest assured Cazadores……YOU HAVE LOST REPEAT CUSTOMERS.
