The food is hearty and affordable, but lacks flavor a bit for me. I was planning to try this place for a while as it’s a true SF staple but was disappointed by the quesadilla I picked. Just tons of cheese and bland chicken. Barely could finish a half of it. The wet burrito had more taste thanks to the sauce so that’s probably the safe choice if you can manage to eat that huge thing. The service was very friendly though and the ambiance of a lively Mexican spot was nice.

First time coming here and it was great. Service is fast and to the point. Its a little on the spendier side for a burrito but it’s 2025 so im not mad. The chips are thicc bois and the salsa is too. Can’t wait to come back and try more meat options. Also the tortillas are like… crazy good.

We came in after a concert past midnight and whoa! The food was amazing, the chicken is so well seasoned! Staff was very nice to us and even let us stay to eat when they were closing. Definitely coming back! The pic of my food is only HALF of what I ordered so you see the portion you get for the price is BIG

I ordered the burrito mojado and spent like 20 minutes slowly devouring it. Every bite had a nice combo of flavors and them topping it with three different condiments made for a fun experience eating. It can be a bit pricey but you are basically paying for two meals. Definitely recommend for your Mission Burrito!
Also, you get chips and salsa included with your order.

The salsas were fresh and tasty, especially the tomatillo. The portions were large and the ingredients were high quality. A perfect example of a classic Mission taqueria.

One of the best burritos I have ever had. The hype is real for Mexican food in the mission. The vibes are super low key. There’s live music. And late night hours. Service is super fast. This is as west coast authentic as it gets for this east coast person!

The food was awesome, the atmosphere was great and the price is super fair. My grandpa used to say that the best place to eat is where there are ordinary people eating. And that’s definitely the case. The old guy (sorry, it’s not an offense) that attends is kind. Highly recommend. I was just passing through the neighborhood and found this diamond.

I used to come here with my ex in 2010. You have to understand that the Mission was more the mission then than it is now. It was meaner. Filthier. Beauty Bar was still a thing. We broke up. She said she like the burritos outside of the 16th and Mission BART. Well, whatever, right. She don’t know. All they had over there was bottled salsa or what I would call bottled water. Nah man I came in here today I got whole frijoles, salsa con aguacate, real pico, red rice like mom would make a little watery, but that’s just so you know it had tomato infused. I tell you, I ate. I got my sleeves dirty. I looked at the Zagat ratings from over 20 years ago. I would say that if you time traveled here from 2002 you would not be disappointed. Still good service. Still playing the hits. Still a place to bring your significant other.

Had a delicious super beef burrito that was huge and so satisfying—I couldn’t even finish it! The place was packed, and there was a musician playing guitar, adding to the great atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!
