Tacos were so mid, I had the al pastor(big chunks and pieces were too chewy), carnitas (too crispy), however, taco cancun was super yummy. My partner got the birria tacos, and a crispy taco and I also tried that. The horchata was good but had a weird taste at the end. Oh and their equites were all cold. Yes, cold esquites.

I’ve been here a million times and it never fails. Definitely a staple for me in the DMV.

Their California burritos are amazing and very filling! As for their tacos: the shrimp, al pastor and chorizo are all sooo delicious!

The staff are all very friendly and efficient. The space is a bit small/limited seating so when it’s busy, you may not find a space to sit but overall 5/5!

I’ve been wanting to give this place a try for a while now, and I can say. The wait was well worth it.

The Food: I went with the Asada California Burrito for this visit. After the first bite, I knew this was going to be good. The steak was cooked nicely, flavorful and was tender. The other toppings they loaded into the burrito worked very well together, making it such a flavorful and delicious burrito. They pack it as well, so you won’t be disappointed about the size. And, for the price, it wasn’t too bad. $12 for authentic food, which tastes better can’t be beat.

The Service: Service was great. Walked in and was greeted. Took me a bit to browse the menu, but service was fast.

The Atmosphere: The restaurant is a little small. So not a lot of tables to sit at. I noticed a lot of people ordering the food more to-go, but I had to have mine right there to just keep it fresh.

Overall, a 5/5. Absolutely loved the food here. No complaints at all. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

A hidden gem. Finally found a spot that makes a Cali burrito reminiscent of the ones I had in San Diego. Their chicken quesadilla and tacos are also great, reasonably priced and packed with flavor. Highly recommended.

I live in SC and every time I visit family in Maryland I make it a point to stop by this restaurant and get a California Burrito. I lived in California and this is by far the most authentic Burrito I’ve ever had outside of there. The staff is all great ans friendly and the food is made fast

Perhaps the best taco joint I have been to in years, and not just in the DMV, but anywhere! Simple ingredients that elevate the taco – each bite is a blast of flavor. Every meal here has been a delight. Look past the decor and just savor the food.

Went there because the reviews!
worse taco birria that I have try in my life it was really disgusting… the beef was not marinated in the birria caldo it was bland and taste less, the tortilla was mush ,mush (the tortilla should be fried, crunchy to hold the birria and the caldo) I’m not mexican but I eaten a lot of authentic mexican food ‍♀️ I don’t understand how they claim it’s authentic and how they have so many good reviews
Beside that the lady at front was extremely rude, I ask polite for light ice in my horchata she said rudely: how, we don’t put ice in drinks and smile with sarcasm ( like saying you are an idiot or what ) I reply I’m sorry but this is my first time here… the whole conversation was in Spanish so is not way how it’s a idioms barrier or misunderstandings.
Bad food, bad service… never again.

This is on my way home from church.. I was craving a burrito and stopped by after reading reviews. The place is a small authentic Mexican place with about 6 tables or so. I ordered the original burrito and it was delicious. The prices have gone up as with every other restaurant matching inflation. It was $10. Comes with one red & one green sauce. Both very authentic and spicy. I would probably never dine in since it’s such a small spot and the kids wouldn’t really be comfortable sitting here and etc but a good place for a quick takeout. Would def come back when I get another Mexican food craving!

I love coming to this place, but I went there last night between the hours of 6 and 7pm and they had the Spanish music blasting so loud that the little girl with striped pants that were black and white was talking so quietly i could barely hear her soft spoken voice over the extremely loud reggaton music.

The music was so loud i couldn’t hear her tell me what was in my order exactly so instead of saying “What?” over and over again i just said okay and this resulted with me getting the wrong Torta order.

Food is always good but Hey to the Owner, please tell your employees to NOT blast reggaton music during work hours that way we can hear what the little girl at the front is saying, or teach her how to speak way louder that way i can get the correct food next time.
