The food was absolutely wonderful. We had the steak and shrimp pizza and the GIANT carne asada taco which I’m pretty sure would take 3-4ppl to eat it all. The atmosphere was like any other little Taqueria is the food that sets this place apart from the rest!!

My son and I come here all the time and this should be a 5 star restaurant. We always get quesabirrias and it is absolutely delicious! There is no other Mexican food that can compete with this place! It’s just absolutely amazing! Everyone here is nice and accommodating! We originally found them off of Instagram as they are known for their tortas!

Enjoyed the two crispy taco plate. Pastor and biria tacos were stuffed!
They are also having a toy drive now and some gentleman dropped off about 30 bags from a non-profit and the restaurant offered him a free breakfast burrito. I love the sense of community here.

The menu avs and food is delicious. My new fav Taqueria. If you get the Ramon it’s enough for 2 people. So much food! You won’t be disappointed.

I decided to try this place because it was really busy, so I figured that was a good sign — but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The tacos were extremely dry and missing the guacamole I paid extra for (which, based on other reviews, seems to happen often). The place was full, so they might have been overwhelmed, but the quality just wasn’t there. Make sure to double-check your order before leaving, because they can forget items. Honestly, I wouldn’t bother coming back

I have to give a review based on my opinion and the fact that the current rating is a 3.9 is absolutely ridiculous from start to finish this place does not disappoint everything in here was extremely tidy and clean the counter space with the salsa and extra ingredients again extremely clean the food was delicious The staff was so helpful and so nice. I can’t wait to come back. Also we were visiting from San Francisco and we will be happy to make the trip again thank you staff and everyone involved in making this place. Great you guys are the best.

Saw their birria pho with short rib go viral so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered it with oxtail.
The flavors were on point. The birria broth tasted great with the short rib. However, the broth was too rich, thick, and salty to be a sipping broth for pho. Tastes great and would be great as a dipping broth. The short rib was amazing. It was so tender and tasted great. Portion was fantastic. The oxtail was tender and good but the short rib outshined it and I felt the oxtail was unnecessary. The veggies included made it feel like a true Mexican and Vietnamese fusion dish.
The only downside is that the noodles were overcooked. It became too soft and soaked up the broth. I’m assuming the piping hot broth continues to cook the noodles once it got put in.
I end up coming back a second time. Got their birria tacos. Flavor still on point. Consume was great and birria fantastic.

Holly Molly I messed up and ordered the no mames taco….. Let me tell didn’t disappoint meat was nice n juicy the green sauce went well with it could stop eating made it only half way because I had a 2hr drive to Sacramento will return for sure soon

My husband and I saw an advertisement on scoops about this place last night and decided to go there today. It was well worth it! We ordered the No Mames Giant Burrito burrito it could actually feed 3-4 people for $35. The customer service was excellent.We didn’t have to wait long and the burrito is delicious! I always say if the salsa is good, the food is good!

Love Taqueria Azteca and I and the wife come here all the time. I just wish there place was bigger. Food is inexpensive and good. It will also fill you up. Food is cooked and prepared quickly. There are free chips and salsa provided by the restaurant thst you can snack on while waiting for food. Restaurant has a family feel to it and its located in a plaza so parking is no problem. A place to bring family, friends, or a significant other. They have a big screen T.V. and they have no problem accomodating a music video, or game if on. Good place to visit if in town. It sometimes gets crowded and you may have to wait for a seat. There is additional seating set up outside for the nice days surely to come. Give it a try and I think you’d be pleased as my wife and I always are.
