We’ve heard from people living in Gwinnett County about this food truck off of Highway 316 in the Atlanta suburbs and had a chance to try it while in the area. I recommend it. I’m a foodie and have tried places with inexpensive food like this and places with food that costs in the hundreds of dollars. The thing to look at is what kind of food a place offers, and if it’s a good version of that particular food. Really expensive food can turn out to be poorly executed and disappointing, and inexpensive food can be delicious.
This is authentic and loaded with flavor. You wait for about 5 minutes for something that is hands down more healthy and tasty than Del Taco (it’s OK) or Taco Bell (what passes for edible is questionable) would be on their best day. You don’t find something made tasty with whole ingredients like this in your average US gas station, either. Stand aside Mr. Blimpie with your huge bread and boring flavors. The tacos, mulitas, and quesadillas are made fresh and the salsas are delicious. The topping options are raw onions, grilled seasoned onions, and cilantro. They have mild salsa and very spicy salsa. Aside from Lolitas which is also easily accessible from Highway 316, this is another authentic place to find food.
They park a food truck along the side of the parking lot, and they must keep pretty busy because in mid-afternoon around 15:00 (3pm) there were people there when we arrived and more when we left.
I don’t have food photos, just a receipt photo showing what the street tacos and mulitas cost. One person can have enough with two tacos and a mulita, and don’t forget to ask for grilled onions. They cook them until clarity and tenderness and they’re delicious on the food along with the salsa.
It is a perfect fall Saturday too, not hot or cold and gorgeously sunny.
Don’t take my personal experience as yours. Figure out what you think by trying it yourself. They’re really nice people too, and double check at the pickup window side before giving your order to you to make sure you have the toppings you want. They’re serious about those $3 street tacos (corn tortilla about the size of the average adult hand).
Good vibes and good people, excellent service as well!
