Our street tacos were pretty incredible. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot because we were just dropping in from out of town, but we were seriously impressed. I also appreciated how clean it was inside – I’m very picky about that! No doubt we’ll be back if we come through the area again!

I had high hopes since it’s in “the neighborhood”.
Staff was friendly, service was great. Food arrived quickly. It reminded me of family restaurants I first experienced in my youth in Texas.
However, the food was disappointing. The portions were large, making it a value for many, but the food was so over seasoned (salt) that it really was not enjoyable. Hopefully, it was a one time thing.
Not sure we will return.

If I could start off with negative stars…I would. I knew from the salsa that nothing would get better than that. It was so bland. Had to keep adding salt and it still didn’t help. Then the quesabirria tacos came out and it was like the worst on earth. The consommé was as if they bought beef broth from walmart, warmed it up and served it. Even after salting, the meat was the most flavorless thing on Earth. Would not recommend. Service was also not all that…half empty glass of water the whole time and serves on the phone instead of serving. We were the only customers there.

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant in KCK. Food is always fresh and hot. Chips, Mild, hot, queso, and green salsas are excellent. We enjoy the alambres arandas, enchilada/tamale dish, and flautas. Highly recommend.

Was there 12/20/25 seems like a different cook. Better couple other times. I won’t go back. Waitress was not kind. Probably cause my family is white. Been there a lot before but she gave a rude service. Happy trails.

I’ve stayed loyal because I’ve been going here for years but the food quality keeps getting worse and worse. Also, I haven’t seen the original owner in forever. I think it’s secretly sold to someone else because the food has never been the same. I’m not even sure those people are mexican, Latino for sure. But the food is so off that it doesn’t seems authentic or tex-mex, it’s just bad. Now that I wrote all this I feel kind of bad, but so was that overpriced burrito.

This has been one of our family favorite since they opened. We lived directly behind them, of course several yards away! (when we lived in Kansas) We now live in Oklahoma. We do make a point to visit them when we make trips back. The staff and service has ALWAYS been EXCELLENT! And the margaritas were very PRETTY and DELICIOUS!

We visited just to try the tacos al pastor! This was our third stop on the KCK Taco Trail. Ended up ordering a margarita flight and the street tacos platter. Margarita flight was a good mix of basic and flavors we wouldn’t normally try. Loved the mango margarita! Tacos were very good and flavorful, but could use a little more spice. Everything was very fresh and full of flavor. Would try again!

ROACH! IN! THE! BURRITO!
Got the food for my wife and she was all excited. She’s got a dairy allergy and forgot there was sour cream on her food. Pulls the burrito apart to try to eat around it and there it is. Craziest stuff in the world. I would not recommend eating here. There is no such thing as just one roach. Keep that in mind next time you choose to eat here.
On the positive side, they have great friendly service. But this is a serious problem in the making.
