*updated because the restaurant responded with a bunch of lies* I’m including a picture of my receipt to show that yes, it was almost $80. And no, I never called asking for a refund on the bad food. I actually explicitly said “I’m not asking for a refund on the food we were unhappy with, just the food we never received – the soda and side of rice and beans.” I didn’t plan to mention that we were unhappy with the food until the girl on the phone said she couldn’t give us a refund and would offer us a credit to our next order, to which I replied I wouldn’t be interested in the credit because I wouldn’t be ordering again. I’m a bartender, I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years. I am always over the top nice to people who work in the industry, but I also know how POS systems work. You can refund money back to a card. This was just intentional theft on the behalf of the restaurant, and given the multiple recent 1 star reviews left by others I think it’s clear this is a business that unfortunately cannot be trusted.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life and INSANELY expensive for what you get, if you even get it. We ordered a soda and a side of rice and beans that we didn’t receive , when I called got the same “we can’t do a refund the manager isn’t here” line that another reviewer got. I didn’t even ask for a refund for the inedible food we did get, just the items they literally did not give us and they said we’d have to come back to restaurant for a cash refund even though I paid with a card. The elote was disgusting -half water, clearly canned corn just dumped in a container. Tacos were overcooked, flavorless, and so soggy you couldn’t pick them up. Ordered a medium guacamole – 4oz container with a small thing of stale chips, nearly $18. Literally charging more than an upscale restaurant in Manhattan for low quality ingredients carelessly thrown together. I cannot get over how bad the food was, nearly $80 and threw most of it away. Do not come here, they will scam you.

The attitudes of the waiters are absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend going here to anyone honestly they aren’t friendly.

UPDATE: I came back again a whole year later not realizing this was the same place and they gave me old Birria tacos! They refuse to give me my money back and claim it’s fresh food. This is days old meat I will be reporting them to the BBB

My partner and I usually order from here via uber eats but today we decided to go in and have things fresh. To say that this food and experience was AMAZING is an understatement. We didn’t feel judged or misplaced considering that we both don’t speak Spanish. We felt so welcomed by the staff it was great. The food came out in 10 MINS! How amazing is that? By the time we finished our appetizer our meals were done and severed right from the kitchen. This place is a hidden gem. It’s worth getting it fresh because the tortillas do get a bit soggy when ordering from Uber eats. Obviously that’s not their fault. 10/10. I wish more people knew about this place. It’s the only restaurant I’ll eat chicken from!
A special thank you to the staff for being so kind and welcoming to us. Thank you for sharing your culture with this restaurant and for being so kind. I haven’t had service so wonderful in years.

Good tacos and good service. Margaritas are too sweet but otherwise love it here. Their hot sauce bar is by far my favorite thing about this place. SOOOO GOOD!!! even has habanero picked onions which I could have drank just by themselves. Picture is the cactus tacos- yummy!!

Been meaning to try this place since I did a lot of orders for door dash and Uber eats. Had to know what the burritos were like bc a lot of people would order them and they’re like 2lbs. Lol got some take out the other night and not disappointed and can’t wait to try more from their menu.

Ordered on Uber eats and the elote cup was disgusting. they didn’t even drain the canned corn before putting the toppings on so it was just horrible corn soup. The churro was the wrong one, and the burrito was cold as ice when I got it. Never spending money here again.

Nice small restaurant with Mexican food and music playing in the background. We went for lunch and the waitress was friendly and informative. For lunch the food was delicious and sizzling from the kitchen. Parking is in the back but it’s not a big area. Next time I am in the area would gladly go again 4 1/2 stars.

The food is amazing! We ordered through grubhub, and everything arrived packed nicely. The Torta cubana is phenomenal, a sandwich packed with all the right things!!! We also ordered the Burrito Pastor and quesadilla Mexicana. Definitely will be back!!
