Don’t waste your money. My family went to try to enjoy some food. Went mom asked for her meat to be well cooked and my uncle medium rare and each ordered different things. They served my mom medium rare and my uncle well done. My aunt told the waitress and she just ignored her. Not only do they charge for to-go plates but they charge you for their tip of $25 for their awful service.

Honestly, I’m not sure which is worse if the service or the food. I ordered a steak gordita. It was all opened up like 2 tostadas. Plain, just the dry meat, lettuce and tomatoes. When asked for sour cream, I noticed that I was charged for. When I went to pay in the front, I felt that I was overcharged. So, I asked for an itemized receipt. She did not look happy. I noticed that they charged the tips upfront, charged for the to go containers, sour cream, and for a bigger horchata water than what I asked for. Will definitely not come back. Service is so bad, that’s why they charge you for the tips ahead of time, no matter how many people are in your table. Don’t waste your money here. I should’ve gone to Olive Garden instead!!!!

This place had some rave reviews on social media; portions and prices are okay, but they will find a way to stick it to you some other way by inflating the price when all is said and done. But you must be attentive in order to catch it. They’re not very transparent and, unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it except write a negative review and never go back again. My advice… READ THE REVIEWS beforehand; if its under 4 stars, there’s a good reason why you should not go and waste your money or time only to have a terrible dining experience.

Taqueria Amigo Chino is the place to go if you’re looking for mega portions, reasonable prices, & loads of smiles! The food is absolutely perfect in taste & quality. The red snapper is ah-mazing, & honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Great food, great service, & a great vibe—highly recommend!

We were a table of 3 and they auto charged a tip of 18%. The server was not even that great. When they give you the bill, they just write a total on a piece of paper that seemed too high. We went to ask for the itemized receipt and they didn’t seem happy with that. That’s when I noticed how much tip they charged and that it was not optional. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible service and it definitely has to do with them automatically getting gratuity. If you don’t want to work just say that. There’s nothing worse than horrible service. The food was okay. But if you want real good Mexican food go to La Pasadita. 10000x better than here. They will not tell you that you need to go to the front to pay. I think they’re delusional in thinking that just because it’s oversized portions it makes it, in their minds, delicious. But absolutely not. This is not the case. You can be talking and waitress just walks away. Will absolutely not come here again and I will make sure to let family and friends know to steer clear from here. The salsa also tasted super old and rotten. The vibe is weird. Kind of giving you’re stranded in the woods and this is the last resort you can eat at. The veggies taste old and like refrigerator.

I’ve been to this place many time and I’ve never had an issue with having to pay with card until this last time I visit. They told me they only take cash and the lady lied that their internet wasn’t working. As we were leaving another table got up to pay and they allowed them to pay with card. So they can pick and choose who they want to let pay with card. The service was also horrible. The two ladies working the front are extremely rude and seem like they hate their job. They also charged a $10 gratuity for a party of two. Definitely not worth the travel just to get big portion. I guess they lost a customer.
