So happy we took a chance on this hidden little gem of a taco truck! I had 3 different tacos (chicharon + egg, chorizo + egg, & chilaquiles) with added cheese (+ .50 cents per taco) and all were so delicious. The salsa that comes with them is great too (red is adequately spicy). My wife ordered the burrito plate and she loved every bite but couldn’t eat it all. She got too full but is devising plans to eat the leftovers as I type this love letter. I imagine everything on the menu comes as large portions. The prices are very cheap if you compare to anywhere else in College Station. The lady that took our order was very nice and patient to us newcomers. We will surely be back!

So. I’ve tried most places in town in search of Barbacoa worthy of my refined palate. So far, this place is the winner for the BCS area. The meat is not too fatty or greasy, and it actually tastes like something more than the green sauce they provide. A bit pricy (6 tacos cost me $30 after adding avocado), but I plan to pay again. Just don’t go after dark ..

We went looking for the best tacos in College Station and we found them at Taqueria Allende. The meat was flavorful and tender. The salsa was spicy. The tortillas were warm and soft. It was the perfect bite! $2.95 per taco. A great place to order food to go! Very helpful and friendly!
We got the carnitas and barbacoa. Yum!
Not a sit down restaurant- it’s a taco trailer. If you want drinks you can pick them up in the mini-mart next door.

I was really excited to try breakfast here. The people were friendly and the prices are really good, but we asked for egg, meat, and cheese but they forgot the cheese on all of them. We didn’t notice until we got home. The tortillas were REALLY good but lots of places make good tortillas so I don’t think we will be back. If it was closer to home/on our way somewhere I would give them another try but we won’t go out of the way again. 🙁

This place is awesome, easily within my top 5 places for breakfast here in College Station. I live within walking distance, but I used to leave for work too early to stop for breakfast, so it took until a couple years ago when I started working from home before I stopped and gave them a try…and now I wish I’d have done it a lot sooner. Now that I know how good the food is, I’d make time to take the trip over even if it took me 10x longer to get here. 2+ years later now, and I still stop at least 2x/week for breakfast tacos…they always know exactly what I want from memory, and they’re always super friendly.
I’ve had several different things and they’ve all been delicious, but my absolute favorite is the chorizo/egg/cheese breakfast tacos…easily the best I’ve tried here in town. Chorizo is easy to mess up if it’s not cooked right, it can get chalky/gritty and is often very greasy, but I have yet to have either of those things with their tacos, they’re always done to perfection, and they’re always very quick with your order, even if there’s a line.
Don’t wait like I did, come by and give them your business, you won’t be disappointed! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Listen, I know how leery people can be with food trucks/trailers but listen here… these breakfast tacos come straight from the taco gods themselves. I’m from the Gulf Coast originally where breakfast tacos are abundant and these breakfast tacos are by far in my top 3 of all breakfast tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The tortillas are perfection.
