Stumbled upon this place on Saturday. We were very pleased with the food and the environment. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered carne asada tacos and quesabirrias. My favorite was the carne asada. It was tender and flavorful. I only eat tacos in Mexicali but for this side of the border, I recommend.

DELICIOUS! I visited on a tranquil Monday, and from the moment I was greeted upon walking in, I could smell the homestyle-cooking aroma. I didn’t know they had Menudo here, since it’s a Taqueria, but was informed that they had Menudo today, so I caved for their Menudo Rojo; it was flavorful, and had no spicy kick to it, which I enjoyed. I came for the tacos, so I also ordered one of each: Asada, Cabeza, and Birria. For the tacos, there’s a self-serve topping-bar, with freshly cut toppings. They have your typical bottled sodas that are found in a Taqueria in Mexico, and there’s also a soda fountain. Highly recommend, the place is clean, service is great, employees were very welcoming and they spoke highly of everything on the menu, which speaks volumes about the business. During my visit, I also noticed that many locals frequent the place.

We just ordered and had the best Carne asada street tacos ever! The taco bar was full of cabbage and limes and other delights. The owner was so nice and served us fresh beans from the crackpot while we waited for our order! We will be back!

Wow, I was just hoping for breakfast but this might be the best Mexican brekky I’ve ever had!! We ate chilaquiles and birria tacos. Both were unreal. The chilaquiles were perfectly sauced and not soggy. Not spicy, not too salty. The tacos had *so much meat* in them.
And open early for breakfast!!! 10/10 recommend. Side note despite my review in English, like most places in this town, you’ll need to use your Spanish skills. 😉

Tried it, maybe cause they are new. Al pastor pure grease has no taste. Carne asada burrito with salsa verda is dry the meat is over cooked and plain only thing that saved it was the dry rice and beans.
