I had a serious craving for churros and noticed this place had them on the menu, so we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did! The churros were absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and coated in just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Highly recommend stopping here for a sweet treat!

Stopped by Taqueria 95, which is more than just a food truck — it’s in a designated picnic-style spot with outdoor seating, picnic tables, and a drinks cooler. The vibe is laid-back, with music playing in the background and plenty of space to sit.
I ordered the Texas/Texan Burger — really good flavor, exactly what you’d expect from a solid, seasoned burger. My buddy’s order looked great too.
A few small notes:
The bun was a little dry and crumbly.
The fries tasted like they might have been reheated, but still good and filling.
Value: Great bang for your buck.
Service: Quick and friendly.
Overall: Tasty food, chill atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Bastrop.

We’ve been eating here a few years, and after the original owner died it changed for a bit, but it’s back to being GREAT again. The atmosphere is cool and clean, menu is amazing, food is good, and the drinks are top-notch.

I was so pleasantly surprised a food truck came thus close to feeling like a restaurant.
The tables under the awning were comfortable with salt, pepper and napkins readily available.
The Tacos were steaming hot when I hot them. It was a great place to stop after church service on Sunday.
I will be headed for a weekday breakfast soon.
I highly recommend this place.

I love tacos and was excited to try this new place, but it was absolutely terrible. The burrito was very bland. I thought adding one of the three salsas I got would help, but even those were terrible. As I was trying g to come to terms with all of this, I opened the burrito to add my own salsa and found a hair. At that point I just decided to throw everything out. I would never go back here because of the experience I had and I do not recommend it to others.

We love Tacos 95! The food is fresh, made to order, and very yummy. The staff provides excellent customer service too, which is always a plus. I eat here 2-3x a week for breakfast. The green salsa is so good. Love the homemade corn tortillas too.

The birria menu items are usually on point. The gorditas are very tasty and haven’t disappointed yet. Only downside I’ve experienced is one of the guys that works there messes up the orders frequently but does fix it if told.
