Great place to experience a higher end taqueria from Mexico. Large seating area with plenty of mest options to choose from. From the basic tacos to keto or protein style tacos and bowls.
Great selection of refreshers or aguas frescas. Cucumber lime is my fav thus far.
Small dessert options and buñuelos to go. Clean salsa bar with the top three favorite blended salsa de tomatillo as well as the cilantro guac looking salsa.
Handmade tortillas are good. Everything is within view just like a traditional taqueria from Mexico.
The only issue I have with this restaurant is that they do not grill their meat. At least its not visible at this time. They pan fry it and it felt cold. Also, the burrito bowl asada meat is from a stainless pan and its not hot.
I asked if you can ask for well done and they can cook it more for you just if you like a bit more char or hot meat.
Al pastor meat was better in this regard because its charred from the meat trompo.

I visited the store today by chance and had the most wonderful experience. Carlos and Chelsy helped me pick out my food and provided absolutely outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
I am a vegetarian while the rest of my family is not, and Carlos went above and beyond by washing the knife before cutting onions and chilies for me once he knew I was vegetarian. That level of care truly meant a lot. He also recommended the best birria for my family, and they absolutely loved it.
Chelsy helped me select the rest of the food, packed everything neatly in a box, and even carried it all the way to my car. Everything was very reasonably priced, and the service was truly exceptional.
When I brought the food home, my entire family loved it. Even though I live in Orange County, I will happily make the drive again because this is now one of my favorite places. Highly recommended.

I can say I had the best bierra tacos. Hubby had the carne asada burrito and he loved it . I definitely will be recommending this spot to friends and family. We drove out looking for a quick bite and were so glad we stopped in. 5 stars and friendly atmosphere beautiful people too very respectful. I will be back soon. Good job guys.

I was unimpressed by the service at this location. I normally dine in and love 2 Portillos, but the service here was not very good. The cook was very friendly, but the woman at the register was not happy when I asked for more salsa as their salsa buffet was empty along with other taco toppings. The salsa containers that held the salsa did not appear to be clean either. The restaurant was not closing for another 2 hours and customers were still coming in. Not inclined to return due to cleanliness and poor service. Food would have been 5/5 if I would have had all of the toppings I wanted for my tacos . I’ve been to multiple 2 portillos, and this is the only location I would not care to return to.

We had the unfortunate experience of being racially discriminated against. After waiting for a few minutes in line without even being acknowledged, a Latino customer walked in minutes after us and was greeted and served before us. I definitely will not be returning.

I came here for the first time for dinner, I ordered 5 tacos de asada and guacamole with a large horchata. This place knows how to make yummy tacos, I love that the tortillas are freshly made on the spot. They have a salsa bar with onions, cilantro and lemon. Truly the best. Plus they play the best Mexican music. I’m coming back again. My total for everything in the picture was $30 and everything was freshly made.

Decided to try this place out and I had a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent, everyone behind the counter was attentive and patient as I don’t speak Spanish. I’m not sure what I ordered food wise, I just did a lot of pointing and asked for beef and chicken…oh and intestines, which was devine. Their cucumber lime juice was absolutely mouth wateringly to die for, it was Delicious. The food here is good, I quite enjoyed it.

Went here when I had an hour and fifteen movies before going to a movie with a date. There was only 6 people in front of us in line. I feel like it was a reasonable expectation that we get food on time for our show… waited 40 min. Nobody in line before me had their order taken. Nobody makjng the food acknowledged anyone in line. Left angry with less time to get food.. they would have to be the best tacos in the world for anyone to go here.

Absolute horrible experience tonight! The cashier/order taker was so rude because I told her I don’t speak Spanish which forced her to speak English. Then she continued to be rude when taking payment because I questioned why the Tap to Pay option required me to give her my phone?!
I guess I should’ve kept my mouth shut because as a result it took an extra long time and the single burrito I ordered was so small! If they had customers and it was during dinner time I would expect a long wait time but nobody was there!
Needless to say I won’t be going back for a skinny $13 burrito, rude staff and long wait times!
