Wonderful spot. Good food, good value, friendly service. The entire family loved their meals: tacos and torta’s. Everything tasted excellent and we would definitely go back. And it was fun to speak in French with the two brothers who are studying languages! Well done all around. Thanks for having us. Tip: these are Mexican street sized tacos, not huge American ones, so if you are hungry order a few more or get a torta, which was big, instead. All good.

You absolutely must come here and try the barbacoa.
Edit.. second time here and you can tell the salsas are made from scratch every time. There’s a slight variance but they’re delicious! I’m going to make this a regular place.

This is a very authentic Mexican restaurant, where authentic around the community typically go and are pleased with because it reminds them of being back home. The tacos are small because AUTHENTIC MEXICN TACOS ARE SMALL and that’s just how I like it. The fajita corn tacos are so good best ones I’ve had in New Orleans. Her lemonade was good, fresh and made to order. The owner was very very nice and had great communication I loved her, she was so nice. The birria was okay, the meat and consume could use a tad bit more seasoning other than that it’s so good. Her chips and salsa , 10/10 her salsa rojo and habenero was so so good.

Coming from San Diego it’s been impossible to find a good Mexican restaurant. This place was great! Very comparable and a nice little restaurant. The carne asada (steak) burrito was delicious; the meat actually had flavor unlike the other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried so far here. The red salsa was also good, flavorful but not too spicy. I also like that it’s locally owned by a woman and named after her 2 sons. I will definitely be back.

Mrs. Angelica and her family make the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Made sure everything was good and prepared well. She also makes super cool flutes and other items! If you’re in the area definitely make sure to stop by.

Stopped by right before closing and was meet with great hospitality and no pressure to rush. The food was delicious! The barbacoa was the best I ever had. Got to speak with the owner who showed us old family photos of her grandparents who created the recipes. They make everything in house even the chips and salsa. This is a small family run business with great food and welcoming people cannot recommend it enough.

The food is delicious and the owner is very attentive and she loves what she does. I ordered one of everything on the menu.
Everything was delicious and Authentic.
The place is big enough to seat maybe 12 people and has a Floating bar to eat off of as well. Go and give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Thank you very much for the great experience!

I personally wasn’t a fan of this taco spot. The food was bland, and the portions were tiny — the tacos were small and the rice was just as little. For the price, you can definitely find better quality and value somewhere else. The waitress was okay and tried her best while juggling several customers, but overall, I wouldn’t go back.

These were the best tacos I have had in a long time, and the service was excellent. We were treated very kindly, and all the food was very good. The guacamole was made fresh just for us and was extremely tasty, and the shrimp tacos I had were unbelievably tasty. I would highly recommend visiting!

We found this restaurant on Google. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner. Such a wonderful woman with a beautiful personality.
This restaurant is deep with sentimental value and history. She’s spent some time talking with us about the hard times during the opening of the restaurant right before Hurricane Ida.
The street was shut down for two years!!!!! But she had so much support from so many people, and businesses that they survived something that would’ve, and did cripple, if not ruin most businesses.
Now to the food. One word….. WOW!!! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The first bite was unexpected!! So much flavor that I didn’t really need a sauce!!!
But they have a sweet and spicy sauce that is so well made that it’s sweet at first. And then BAM!!!!! The spice kicks in!!! Truly amazing Mexican cuisine!!
If you’re local, you’re winning to have this place. If you’re traveling and can stop by. DO IT!!! It’s totally worth the trip!!!
