SOOO glad I made the stop at Tapped. I was looking for dog friendly early dinner spots on Camano after checking out the local recommended parks good for dogs, and saw Tapped had dog- friendly space.

Counter ordering as you come in, quick, helpful and patient while I tried to keep my dog behaved and figure out what to eat. I landed on the prime rib dip – the absolute BEST I’ve ever had. The pretzel bun texture alone is to die for, slightly crisp outside with a light and soft inside. The au jus loaded with onions (love!), and choice of fries, tots, or side salad.

They have so many unique options on tap, but for us non-tap drinkers they have decent options for white abd red wine and champs.

Bundled outside, I had the most attentive service as a party of one plus my furry compadre. So kind, personable, genuine connection between 4 different staff members! Aside from the ridiculous prime rib dip I’ll be dreaming of, the kindness of the staff is unmatched.

The food is fast, and cooked fresh. We had a pretzel, coconut shrimp and loaded tots to start. For mains, we had the fish and chips, pretzel burger and prime rib dip. The outdoor seating was great, our doggie enjoyed it. The beer and cider was also fantastic. We will be back!

Walk in, order food from an entry bar, pay and wait at a table with a number card. OK. Unfortunately, again, you’re asked to tip at least 18% without receiving any food or real service. Maybe if it’s a hangout and you’re a regular you know what’s coming, maybe. Its a hip hangout for younger clientele. Nothing wrong with that. The servers all seem very nice but nothing extraordinary. The food was OK, again nothing, to us at least that signaled a reason to return. Give it a try. Just because it wasn’t for us, doesn’t mean it’s not a great place.

Stopped in for lunch with my husband. Everything was absolutely amazing. Had the Dungeness crab sliders so yummy. Sat outside and a fly landed in my cider, we were sitting outside on the patio, so not their fault at all . The waitress immediately asked me if I would like another one to replace it. This was so nice, as it was not their fault at all! The person taking our order even helped my husband select a beer.

Customer service level was definitely above and beyond!!

We will definitely be back. Everything was truly amazing.

2nd update: After their second response to this review, I sent a second email, and I’ve included a screenshot of both emails sent to the email address they have provided, and no response back.
Update: I reached out to the email located in the business response below, and I never heard back from them, so I removed an additional star.

We got takeout yesterday on 11/22/25.
This is our 4th takeout from Tapped Camano in the last 2 months. My husband likes their fish n’ chips, so I have been trying to find something I like on the menu. The first two times, I ordered tacos off their starter menu. They’re not bad, but the value isn’t there. The last order I tried one of their burgers, and it was okay, but the meat was dry and crumbling, and the bacon jam was different from than I have ever tried. Yesterday, I tried a pretzel burger. The meat was super dry again; however, to be fair, I did order it without the cheese sauce. The bacon and the bun were completely black. I cut the burger in half to eat it, and the meat just crumbled. Are the burgers worth $18? Not even close. Is a taco worth $8? Nope. All four times we’ve gotten pick up, they’ve had different levels of busy. They have taken ample time on all four occasions. I will continue to try again for the sake of my husband’s fish n’ chips, but if you are looking for a place that provides quality food with reasonable prices, unfortunately, this is not the place. You will have a long wait, but the staff is friendly.

Food tried in total:
Fish n chips- good
Tacos- all meat options- okay, but not great
Sweet potato and regular fries are awesome!
Pretzel Burger burnt and inedible
Crab mac n cheese super dry
Prime rib sandwich okay in flavor

We had a great experience at Tapped Public House on Sunday! We sat outside on their heated patio, which was great. It was warm and cozy despite it being cold outside. The patio had plenty of seating, and we were able to bring our dogs along.

The service was great, with the team checking on us frequently and bringing water for our pups. Everyone had a great demeanor and was talkative, it really made the experience enjoyable! The food and beer were both fantastic! There are a lot of menu options to choose from, and the portion sizes were very generous.

Parking was easy, with a lot right in front, and the area around the restaurant is cute too. There’s even a space for kids, so this would be a great spot for a family outing. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back, especially with our dogs, for lunch again when we visit Camino Island. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Great beer and food selection on the island. Friendly staff and a heated porch to bring your dog. The crab sliders were my favorite.

They also have Impossible burger as well.

The food was fresh and delicious. Plating is very nice. Rustic, but well put together. Serving sizes are just right. Variety of beers to choose from. The service was friendly and accommodating. Definitly will return if I find myself in the area again.
