I begun going to Taplandia shortly after it’s inception in 2022. I was excited about the prospect of a new neighborhood Taphouse; or as some might call it- an adult Starbucks. Immediately upon entering you notice the sleek, modern design and appealing “garage” style door that gets lifted during nice weather. There are a magnitude of high end big screens to catch your favorite sporting events any day of the week. The beers are sourced with care and designed around the local pallet. Offering rare and illusive drafts that are hard to come by, and don’t sleep on their bourbon and liquor selection. As a bourbon fan I’ve had more than one special pour at Taplandia to cross a desired beverage off my bucket list at a reasonable price (harder and harder to come by these days!).
While the selection of finely curated beverages, comfortable environment, and TV entertainment is certainly reason enough to check out Taplandia. It is the people who make it so special. The owners Jay & Jack (along with their incredible support staff) know what it means to provide best in business customer service. I can’t steal taglines… but when you’re there, you’re family. Call it a gastropub, sports bar, or something else entirely. But know that if you venture to visit Taplandia you’ll be hooked on that neighborhood family feel.

A regular spot for us! Love that they’re so family friendly and have a great rotating tap list. The environment is great, it’s super clean and upbeat. They recently got a food menu makeover too, have yet to try much but it’s nice to have the options.

Great selection of craft beers, some epic names on the tap list and in the beer fridge when I visited. They also have wine. Food menu is short, I had the wings and they come with sauces on the side. I would call them decent. Lots of TVs and it was crowded for March madness games. There is some cozy seating with a fireplace but mostly table and chairs throughout.

Welcoming, community oriented family friendly taphouse and gathering place. I’ve come here solo, to meet friends and to play board games. It works for all of these. Love it in the summer when the garage doors come up. Wish there were better food options; always like it when they bring in food trucks.

It’s your local neighborhood taphouse that has a wide selection of beers on tap and also a decent selection of bourbon to choose from. They also have some snacks you can munch on. The vibe here is very chill with some great customer service. I liked that they have the garage door style window where they can open it up on nice days.

The food is mediocre. A bit overpriced for the amount you receive. Wish there were more local beer options other than Great Notion. The staff is friendly but I found it a bit odd that I was asked to show ID when I was clearly 8 months pregnant and it was 2 in the afternoon. They have a sign that says minors are allowed to a certain time, so don’t understand why I have to show ID when I’m just a 30 year old pregnant lady trying to eat. Do children have to show ID too? I’ve never been asked to show ID at any other bar I’ve been to while pregnant cause they’re obviously not serving alcohol to a pregnant woman. Weird experience.

Great place to just relax and have a beer and play a little trivia. TV’s all over the place. Always plan sports. The staff is super friendly and courteous. The place is always clean and well kept.

A Local Gem – Welcoming, Delicious, and Family-Friendly! Taplandia is everything you want in a neighborhood spot–warm, welcoming, and full of character. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like a regular, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. The staff is genuinely friendly and takes the time to get to know you, which gives the place a relaxed, community feel that’s hard to find these days.
The beer selection is fantastic, with a great mix of local brews and rotating taps that keep things interesting. There’s always something new to try, and the staff is happy to offer samples and recommendations. Plus, they’ve got tasty bites to go with your pint–perfect for a casual night out.
It’s kid-friendly! There’s a laid-back vibe that makes it comfortable to bring the whole family, and they’ve clearly thought about how to make it enjoyable for everyone–games for the kids, tv’s, and a menu that works for all ages.
It’s the kind of place that feels like home–whether you’re there for a quick beer, a long catch-up with friends, or a family evening out. Truly a local treasure. Thank You Jack, JV and your families for your hard work!

Your Services were greatly appreciated!
: Food is great. Plenty of tasty snacks at a fair price. I’ve eaten just about everything they serve! The skinny pizza, wings, dogs, and fukake popcorn are my favs! They also have great food trucks that come around!
: Beer, plenty of tasty options to cure your cravings! Beer, liquor, wine and slurps.
Draft, bottled and even non-alcoholic.
The house Mexican lager is my favorite!
♀️: The service is family. Each and every one of their employees deserve recognition! They provide the perfect balance of attentiveness. Not at all neglectful nor are they overwhelming. They are very considerate when taking care of their customers.
“I remember one occasion where it was frigid outside, damn near freezing and they went out to retrieve and provide space heaters to scatter around the common room.
: This spot IS The Spot!
“Where everybody knows your name”,
Plenty of screens including a Big boy.
A retractable wall for nice days and an electric fireplace to serve warm nights.
Comfortable, Clean and Convenient location!
