The first thing to notice was the giant two foot finger printed on the tabletop. It is part of the table art. It is hard to ignore. It is also not very appetizing while eating.

The food was alright. The loaded tots should probably be called nacho tots. They come with jalapeños and squeeze bottle cheese.

The pulled pork was better. It had a nice sweet flavor.

Service was mostly good. The waitress was polite about 95% of the time. One brief moment caught us off guard.

Not really good enough for us to be back.

Notre dame themed restaurant. Very cool. We went for an early lunch in February so we didn’t see any sports action or college crowd but I’m sure it’s a popular spot. The menu was fun and the food was great! I had the jalapeño popper burger. They have a crazy food eating challenge for those who dare! Check it out!

Stopped in for a quick meal on a ND football weekend. The place was packed, all TV’s had games on, the beer was cold, and our waitress was on top of everything! The bowl for the taco salad made the meal and the burnt end sandwich didn’t disappoint. The only thing we noticed was the side of fries on the sandwich plate was small compared to other restaurants.

Mixed experience. Food was absolutely AMAZING! Got 2 of the burgers and both were phenomenal, so shout out to the kitchen staff. As far as the other staff? Called to place a pick up order, first call wasnt answered. Called again, was answered but immediately placed on hold. Fair enough, might be busy. While I was on hold I was driving there (was hoping to not have to go inside to place order). Still on hold with no check in when I got there 12 minutes later. I hang up and go inside, there are two employees at the host area standing around talking and laughing. While the phone had been on hold in front of their eyes for 12 minutes. Frustrating, but maybe they forgot? Then we are shown to the bar to order. Both bartenders were talking very loudly with another patron about inappropriate topics, even ignoring another waiter who needed a drink for his table. The restaurant was more than half empty, so really inexcusable. Service was incredibly disappointing, having been a hostess if I left a customer on hold for 12 minutes while standing around laughing and doing nothing, I would have been fired. Once again though, kitchen staff were fantastic!

I wouldn’t eat here if you have any dietary restrictions. I made a delivery order and put that I had a peanut allergy, my burger arrived with not only peanut butter on it but a side cup as well in case the burger itself wasn’t already dangerous enough. The burger I ordered didn’t even normally come with peanut butter on it. It’s like someone saw the word peanut and just went wild. Maybe it’s better if you can talk to a server idk. Burger looked great for those who wouldn’t die eating it.

We stopped in here on game day and were pleasantly surprised how good the food was! We had the nachos, the slider burgers, onion rings and a cup of vegetable soup. The nachos were amazing, we would go back just for those! The burgers were great but the onion rings were a little overdone. Most of all I never expected the soup to be so flavorful and interesting with choice of vegetables…cabbage, celery, carrots, yellow squash, cauliflower and broccoli! The broth was rich and tasted like it had simmering for hours! Such a nice surprise. We sat in a both in the bar and the environment was classic sports bar. The service was great. I missed his name but he took great care of us.

Margaret was an amazing waitress! Made great suggestions! Brisket melt was delicious, French onion smash burger was amazing and jalapeno popper stuffed mushrooms were a great appetizer! Will be back!

Very much a sports bar atmosphere. Food wasn’t really worth it. First time the host was so ripped he gave me a kids menu, crayons and all, food wasn’t the best either. Gave it another chance and all though our waitress was fantasic, the food was terrible.

I’ve heard such great things about this place, but I was really disappointed. I was honestly not that impressed. Our server was sweet and informative, so we appreciated that. However, the atmosphere was boring and basic. Nothing to write home about.. And the food was just so-so. There were multiple smashburger options, but they were all so very similar.. Mushrooms, onions, or jalapenos. Not a lot of variety. There was Velveeta on almost everything, but I’m guessing that’s their special thing.
I got the French onion smashburger and honestly found it a little flavorless. All I could taste was the patty and the previously frozen fried onion. I was expecting a more bold and creative dish. Plate presentation looked appetizing, though. We also got the tater skins and garlic parmesan shrimp. The tater skins were on point, but the shrimp was extremely oily and the cheese on top was rubbery.
I really liked the idea of this restaurant, I just thought the food could have tasted a little more gourmet and less frozen. I’m sure if I were drunk I would have loved it. It’s something I would have devoured on a night out of drinking in my early twenties.
As far as smashburgers go, Beibs and Ash for the win! My opinion of course.
