Excellent food. The beef soup was hands down the best caldo de res I have had. The broth was perfectly seasoned and the meat fell apart. My companions enjoyed the quesadilla and the burrito. The tortillas tasted fresh. Like they were made fresh. I hope to come here again.

Steak tacos were good carnitas were a bit dry. Nothing the fresh lime and hot sauce couldn’t fix. Served with grilled green onions, grilled jalapeño, fresh radish & cucumber.

Really great. My tacos and burrito were stuffed and delicious, as were the tamales. The green salsa is great too. I appreciate that they have some different choices than the usual proteins you see, including beef cheek, tongue, and adovada. The birria consume could’ve been better if it was a little more concentrated and spicier, but that’s nbd. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving mexican and looking for a casual, unpretentious place.

The wife and I stopped in this evening for dinner after discovering this hidden little gem the other week. We love spots like this. Small and probably family owned with fresh authentic cuisine. Chorizo burrito and the tostada de ceviche were ordered. Hands down just delicious with the freshest ingredients.
Food came out faster than expected and the location was so charming and all within a small grocery market tucked away on a side street in Marshall. The cashier was so sweet and helpful as this was our first time. We will definitely be back.

$4 for a street taco is a bit much, but the flavors are pretty good. I would guess the options in this area are fairly limited, so you end up with a average street tacos for 4 bucks. The torta was pretty good, but nothing spectacular
1 torta, 2 tacos and 1 jamaica for $28 and nothing to write home about
Even at a cheaper price point there would be nothing spectacular about this place
My wife, who’s is Mexican, didn’t even want to order once she found out the tacos were over $4 each

My husband ate here when he visited our daughter’s family and loved the tacos so much that I was eager to go during my recent visit to see them. I had the lonche de jamon: a fabulous crispy 7” baguette loaded with ham (Mexican Fud brand), onion, tomato, jalapeño, and refried beans. There are many great options on the menu that I had a hard time choosing and was very happy with the ham sandwich; still I wish I could have eaten there more often and tried more of the menu.
The attached latin grocery shop is also a great find and a place I would shop if I lived locally. I did get a paleta (popsicle) for dessert and the Mango Chamoy flavor is awesome: sweet, tart, and spicy!
As of Sept 2023, Google has the best version of the shop’s menu.

I’m so happy the family was as eager as i was to visit Tapatio’s on our latest trip to Virginia. I remembered the sandwich bread was so good last time that ordered another sandwich, this time topped with cachete (tender, tender beef cheek), cilantro, onions, jalapeño, and avocado slices. WOW. I cannot recommend this enough. My husband had the same toppings in taco form and absolutely loved them. I could not leave without a La Flor Michoacana paleta. Soooo amazing! My favorite right now is the mango and chile, but i fully intend to have a tambran and chile before we leave. Love, love, love this place!
