We’ve been meaning to try this place for YEARS since we always drive by, and we finally went tonight—what an incredible experience! The food was beyond exceptional, packed with amazing flavor, and the portions were perfect. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy, and the staff were absolutely fantastic with wonderful recommendations. From the cocktails to the cheesecake dessert and coffee, every single thing we tried was outstanding. So happy we finally went—this will definitely be a go-to spot. I recently returned from a trip to Spain, where I fell in love with the local tapas. Naturally, I was on the lookout for an authentic tapas experience back here . Based on some excellent reviews, I decided to try this cozy little place, One great feature is the outdoor seating area, where you can bring your dog.
The tapas here are simply outstanding! Each dish transported me back to Spain with its authentic flavors. The taste was remarkably similar to what I enjoyed during my trip. The sangrias were superb as well.
The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch.
If you’re craving authentic Spanish tapas, this place is a must-visit. The food, drinks, and service are all exceptional, making it a wonderful spot to relive the flavors of Spain.

Great spanish tapas. Every single dish felt very authentic and super flavorful. Great meat , fish and vegetarian options. Service was excellent too! One of the dishes we tried was a little undercooked but the staff was very attentive and took care of it! Highgly recommended!

Excellent authentic tapas in a very nice setting. Seafood Paella was very generously filled with clams, mussels and shrimp. The citrus Catalana creama was unique and very good and the cafe con leche was perfect. Go with at least four people because you will want to try many, many things!

Looking for a new restaurant to try, my wife came across Tap & Tapas just outside of downtown Northport. We arrived right before our reservation and were greeted warmly & allowed to choose our preferred seat outside on their lovely patio.
The menu + specials had an amazing mix of vegetarian / vegan options, I would say close to 50% of their menu was at least vegetarian, which was very welcome.
We got a mix of tapas & shared a pitcher of their classic red sangria. We shared patatas bravas, beets in goat cheese, a cheese charcuterie board, marinated olives, and ended with a pistachio cheese cake. The food was all clearly fresh & of high quality, very delicious. The staff was all warm & inviting & attentive to our needs throughout our evening.
We both left thoroughly impressed and full of delicious tapas with plans to return again.

We visited this restaurant on a quiet Sunday night after searching for tapas related cuisine in the area. Luckily, we ended up at this establishment. The richness, quality, and flavor of the dishes we tried that night were simply superb. I’ve been to Seville and Catalonia regions, and I can say with confidence that food made at this restaurant is on par if not better than what I’ve had the pleasure tasting in Spain. The chef is on point. Much respect.

Just had our 23rd anniversary dinner here. Great food, service, atmosphere. It was like being back in Portugal and Spain. Love tapas. My favorite way to eat. Pumpkin soup, asparagus with Manchego and craisins, smoked beet salad, garlic shrimp, grilled langostines, and chocolate mousse were all delicious. Got the Jamon Iberico to go. Wonderful! Would definitely return.

I went to tap and tapas yesterday November 30 with my daughter and it was great when I tell you I loved everything about this place from the atmosphere to the food to the service and the staff.
