Best Mango Habanero wings. Pizza is amazing here. Have been more than pleased with the selection and have tried most of them. I am having a Shroom Burger tonight. Fries are thin, delicious. The burger has great flavor. The shrooms are portobello. Talked to the owner tonight. Great guy. He takes a lot of pride in his food and business.

Wonderful atmosphere. Hard to beat a downtown view of Morrison with its red rock backdrop. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio that has a charming little creek running parallel. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t taste good. More importantly, nothing felt hygienic. The menus were laminated and extremely sticky and dark from dirty finger prints. I don’t think the menus have ever been cleaned. After touching the menus I needed to wash my hands and the state of the bathroom really made me worry about the hygiene in the back. For the price of the food, I’d expect non plastic cups and non disposable cutlery/plates. I’d also recommend using a filter for the tap water as this was maybe the worst tap water I’ve ever drank. The waitress was polite and we were seated quickly so that was a pro. All in all, I probably wouldn’t visit again.

My friend and I dined here late summer after an evening paddle boarding sess after work. The location is great and while we didn’t sit on the patio (was a little too chilly), the patio has all the vibes being next to the river. Nice that parking is free in the lot if you can find a spot, esp in Morrison. Service was good, servers were attentive and friendly. Restaurant was a little dirty, table was sticky. Food was meh, we had a pizza and garlic knots but it was the sauce that made it meh. It seems generic or cheap and lacked flavor. I’ve never had such bland pizza at a pizza restaurant. I also expected more of a beer selection seeing that “tap” is in the name of the restaurant.

Nice place on the bank of a creek. Outdoor seating was just perfect. Nick, our server, was awesome! We got the 5-O and the margarita pizzas. They were really good. (06/10/24 edit to remove “not good”, because, they were AWESOME!!)

Tap on the Rocks is a great place to grab a bite in downtown Morrison. The patio is really nice – next to the creek with plenty of shaded seating.
Both the pizza and wings were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They have a nice selection of beer on tap and a full bar for all the non-beer drinkers. There were also several vegetarian options on the menu.

The beer was fairly flat and the wings ($2 each)were dumped on our table in a to-go aluminum tin. The service was good but only because the bartender was helping. Will not be back.

After a hike we went down to Morrison and decided to stop by Tap on the Rocks. Garlic knots are to delicious My picky eater 10yo devour the whole plate. Pizza is very yummy as well. There was no food left to take home.
Customer service was outstanding, very attentive, friendly and polite.
Can’t wait to go back and try other foods.
Update: We just came back here 2 weeks later. Food as good as the first time, or even better!

The service is terrible. The pizza will be burnt. They will pretend like this is how all wood fire pizzas are made, as though you’ve never had wood fire pizza before. We will never be back. Do better.
