Tap 42 has great food everything we ordered tasted amazing.
However, the Millionaire Margarita was disappointing. It was mostly ice and served in a very small cup, leaving very little actual drink.
Unfortunately, our service significantly affected the experience. Our server, Angela, seemed rushed and impatient. She repeatedly tried to choose our food and drink orders for us, and we had to correct her multiple times because what she entered was not what we asked for. She removed our menus quickly and kept trying to clear our appetizer plates before we were finished.
What was most uncomfortable was when she tried to choose how I wanted my entrée prepared. I had to firmly tell her that was not what I wanted. After we ordered dessert and an additional drink, she immediately brought the check without asking, which made us feel extremely rushed.
Overall, the food was excellent, but the service made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.

The food was great, the customer service was great, and the only reason I gave it a four star is because of the drink selection. The restroom and the whole restaurant were clean. They do not do free refills and they will not tell you as well; they just let you order up a check.

We came to Tap 42 for a Sunday lunch and really enjoyed it. The place is clean and well-kept, and we were taken care of by a super friendly Venezuelan-American waitress who made the experience even better. We sat at the bar for a light lunch, just me and my girlfriend, and it was the perfect plan for a relaxed Sunday.
The beer was ice-cold, which I really appreciated. We started with the calamari tower — tasty and fun to share — and then each of us ordered a burger. Everything was delicious and fairly priced.
Since it’s located inside The Gardens Mall, it worked out great for us; we got to grab a good meal and then head out for some shopping right after.
The bar has a cool vibe, great for watching live games with good drinks and good energy. The only thing is that some areas don’t get much natural light, but overall, it still feels modern and comfortable.
In short, a great spot for a light, tasty lunch, a cold beer, and a nice time together. Definitely a place we’d come back to.

I had such a great experience thanks to Dyami! He was incredibly polite, informative, and attentive from start to finish. I really appreciated how responsible he was, especially when it came to my gluten allergy — he made sure everything was handled carefully and that I felt comfortable the whole time. He also went out of his way to help my friend who was with me, showing the same level of care and professionalism. Dyami truly made our visit enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for great service.

Came here for dinner after a long work day. Dyami was AWESOME! Super friendly and helpful. I got the corn guacamole starter and it was good, maybe a little less cream would have been nice. For my entree got the chimichurri and I loved it! For the side though I got the Brussels sprouts and that was a mistake. Not sure if it was just mine or it is the way it’s made but they were overly salty and burnt. Dyami was great though and let me switch it out for something else. Overall good experience and would visit again.

ap 42 was a decent spot for lunch, though the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and the salmon bowl. While the wrap was flavorful, it was disappointing how little chicken it contained, which made it feel overpriced for what we received. On the positive side, the salmon bowl was well prepared, fresh, and satisfying, easily the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was lively and service was good overall. With a bit more consistency in portion sizes, Tap 42 could be a more reliable lunch option.
