Always having a good time at Tap42. Either for brunch or any other time, it’s always a good place to go with family or friends. Saturdays with Happy Hour makes it more interesting. The food is good, the service also good, as well as the atmosphere. A lot of people always having fun next to you. The outdoors area is also a great option. Paid street parking but somewhat difficult to find a spot nearby.

I had such an amazing experience at Tap 42! My waitress, Yami, was the best — super friendly, funny, very outgoing she really made the whole night more enjoyable. She gave me great recommendations, and everything she suggested was delicious. I got the Prohibition Burger and tried the chicken with rigatoni, both were super yummy, but the crispy rice salmon appetizer is my absolute favorite. The lychee cocktail was perfectly balanced and so refreshing too. The food was amazing, the vibes were great, and Yami’s service made it even better. Exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for — I’ll definitely be back!

Returning to an old stomping ground is always a bit of a gamble. I used to work in the Gables and Tap 42 was a regular spot for me back when the service was as sharp as the drinks. Unfortunately, this Sunday brunch felt less like a happy reunion and more like we were invisible.
We were seated when the restaurant was fairly empty, which you’d think would guarantee attentive service. Instead, we sat there for about ten minutes without a single greeting. I’m not a high-maintenance guy, but I generally prefer to order my food before I start contemplating retirement. I eventually had to get up and ask the hostess to send a search party to find us a waiter. It definitely feels like the service standards have gone downhill since my days as a regular here. To make matters worse, there was a stack of dirty plates at the bar that greeted us when we walked in and was still there when we left. I think they might be part of the lease agreement now.
The frustrating part is that the food is still genuinely excellent. The kitchen is firing on all cylinders, but the front of the house seems to be operating on a delay. If you have infinite patience, the meal is worth it, but don’t expect the snappy service this place used to be known for.

I ordered that Waygu beef noodle bowl online. Sauce, pretty good! Not enough noodles. The “waygu” quality of the beef added nothing. Use pretty good, but cheaper beef! Add more noodles! Keep the sauce! This is my “expert advice”. Tasty, but NOT worth $29 and that’s because of the “highfalutin’ beef” and when one orders a noodle bowl, they want a ton of NOODLES!!!! Don’t change the sauce, though. Spicy, but not too spicy. Savory as well. Nice sauce.

LOVE Tap 42! This is the Go to place for my wife & I! We grab a Bold Rock Cider to drink and she usually has the Ahi Poke Salad which offers fresh tuna chunks and macadamia nuts.
My go to is the Drunken Goat Burger with mixed meat, goat cheese, and red berry sauce, served on the side, as I get it lettuce wrapped with sweet potato fries with a cinnamon dip. YUM!! Resonably priced.
Service is Always friendly, and even if they make a slight error in serving, Tap is quick to remedy the issue. Good Vibes and a Good time, stop in and Tap! ENJOY!!

I’m not from Coral Gables, but I stopped by Tap 42 during my visit and had an awesome experience. It was really busy when I went, I think there was a game on, but Ella, the bartender, was incredible. She stayed calm, was super friendly, and made great drinks like the margarita and gin & tonic even with the crowd. The sliders and Philly steak egg rolls were both fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service overall was excellent, and the atmosphere and location were hard to beat. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Coral Gables and highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

I am writing to formally complain about the way a recent allegation of child abuse against my husband was handled.
The accusation was made without proper verification and caused significant emotional distress to our family. We are especially concerned that individuals who were not authorized were allowed to speak directly with our minor child. This was done without our consent and without appropriate safeguards in place.
Additionally, the situation was not handled in a professional or secure manner. There appeared to be a lack of proper protocol, confidentiality, and due process throughout the matter.
We respectfully request a formal review of how this situation was managed, clarification on the procedures followed, and steps to ensure this does not happen again.
We take the well-being of our child very seriously and expect the same level of professionalism and care from your organization.

Thirty of my family members and I had a cruise scheduled from Miami, and as a travel agent and group leader, it was on me to handle details. After a recommendation from the Director of Sales at our nearby hotel, Courtyard Marriott Coral Gables, I checked our recent reviews of Tap 42 and was impressed. The menu is interesting and prices are very reasonable. So I booked seating for twenty, and off we went.
We had a private area for our group, and the restaurant didn’t mind that we had to drop off our family in groups due to rain. They greeted us in a friendly and professional manner, and Maddie accommodated my request for additional seating when our party grew at the last minute.
The food…OMG, so good! The drinks were on point too!
I’m putting this hotel in regular rotation for our many visits to the Miami area, and make referrals to my clients and travel partners.
