Some of the best Mexican street food I’ve eaten outside of Mexico. The “special burrito” (beef, pinto beans, potato, green chiles) was delicious, and the al pastor tacos were the best I’ve ever had. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. Friendly service and a beautiful, shaded picnic area to enjoy the wonderful food. (Note to self: Next time make sure to try the eponymous, and highly touted, “Chicharron Burrito”!)

Yes. I am the guy who always wants to know where the really good food is. Even in a small town, there’s always something good. Found it in Taos: the Taos Chicharron Burrito (it’s a food truck). The Chicharron Burrito was divine. Simple. Fresh, hot tortilla filled with Chicharron, perfect beans, and cheese. Crunchy, yet chewy, and absolutely delicious. Sitting under a big red umbrella under the beautiful blue sky and listening to the distant sound of Mexican radio, spatulas clacking, and happily talking. I’ll be back.

Tried to find a good breakfast burrito on a Wednesday morning. The first two spots were closed and this was the third on the list. This was by far some of the best smothered breakfast burritos I have ever experienced- every bite was better than the last. The staff was fantastic and friendly and the food was worth the (made-to-order) wait. It was not busy when we arrived so I imagine that at busier times, it could take a little bit.

Taos Chicharrón Burrito is soooo good. Each time I’ve gone my food is fresh, hot and very tasty! Best tortas in town. Very authentic Mexican food.
Apart from the great food something that really stood out to me was their amazing customer service. So much so that I made sure to get their names this time. Selene and Marisol are amazing! They always greet you promptly and cheerfully, they’re kind, attentive, and fast. As someone who has worked a variety of customer service jobs Including food, customer service is very important to me. It can make or break an experience. These girls make an effort to treat their customers well.
I highly recommend giving Taos Chicharrón Burrito a try.

This place is really good! We had different flavor tacos and the Chile Relleno plate, and the red and green tamales. Nothing disappointed us. The service was great as well, highly recommended it!!

I got my usual chili hot hog. Got home and this is what I got. The most unappetizing looking dog on the planet. No chili on the dog and no cheese. The bread wasn’t even split on the right side. Some one knowingly just threw it in the box. Not worth $5. If you were open when I went back I wouldn’t even ask for a redo. Just because it’s almost closing time doesn’t mean you half a$$ someone’s food.
