Taromina Pizza in Paterson absolutely hits the spot! The cheese is just right, not too greasy and the crust? Perfection. Cooked to that ideal crisp without being overdone. I especially appreciate the sauce; it’s smooth and flavorful without that overpowering tang some places lean into. Every bite feels balanced and satisfying.
My only gripe is the wait time. When I call in, I’m usually told 25 minutes, but realistically it’s closer to 35–45 mins. That being said, I keep coming back because it’s definitely worth the wait. If you’re craving pizza that nails the fundamentals, Taromina delivers!

Taormina absolutely delivered. I tried the spinach wrap and a penne vodka slice with grilled chicken, and both were amazing. The flavors were on point, the chicken was perfectly grilled, and the penne vodka had that rich, creamy sauce you crave.
And let’s talk about the cheese pull — unreal. Gooey, stretchy, and exactly how great pizza should be. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to when I want something satisfying and delicious. Highly recommend!

I get pizza here sometimes, but I had never tried a pasta, today I did, and it is amazing!!!
I just couldn’t believe it, everything was cooked to perfection and of course,the flavor is incredible.

I’m have been getting pizza here since my childhood. Hadn’t been in a while so decided to stop in for a slice. Still decently priced considering the economy. Got one plain slice and took it to go. Good service has always been my experience even when they are busy. There is space to sit inside. Has a small parking lot and there is street parking.

Prefer frozen pizza instead this place. Pizza cheese extremely chewy. Chew chew chew like bubble gum. So stringy was afraid would choke on it. Not melted felt nautous. Seems like slabs cheese instead shredded cheese.

Place was extremely Hot inside. Couldn’t wait to get out. Poor fluorescent lighting and paneling.

I was on a FB Marketplace journey and found myself hungry and far away from home. Checked google maps for restaurants and found this gem. I was in the mood for italian so I popped in. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Ordered a shrimp parm with linguini. Everything was so flavorful and the aroma wonderful. Cute local spot. I would definitely come back.

Taormina Pizzeria Italian Restaurant is my place to go for pizzas, lasagna and everything else. Their chicken and eggplant parm is the best I have ever tasted, including their garlic knots with the marinara sauce. Bottomline, no matter what you order from them is so delicious and you’ll not be disappointed.

I’ve been coming here since I was 5 years old. It’s still as great as when I had my first slice. I absolutely love this place and it’s my favorite pizza spot in all of Jersey. They’re always kind here and will have you in and out in no time!
