Social Profile:

Tanoor is a family owned and operated authentic Lebanese restaurant in Sammamish. We moved to Sammamish in 2001 where we raised our 4 children. We always loved cooking and entertaining guests. Our guests kept asking us, When are you going to open a Lebanese restaurant? We finally decided to take the plunge and open tanoor. Our goal was to open a full-service restaurant with authentic Lebanese food, which was also Halal and celiac friendly. Our family has a history of Celiac disease and it was always a challenge for us to find safe and celiac-friendly restaurants. Our menu and space are designed to bring the flavors, smells, and atmosphere of Lebanon to Bellevue and its surroundings

Love love love Tanoor! We’ve had this catered a few times and finally made it to the restaurant in person. We made a reservation for 14 people ahead of time and they had the tables reserved for us. The service is pretty good, our server immediately clocked that we’d be pretty loud and distracted so he made some announcements ahead of time to help keep the ordering process easy and organized. Several of us got different plates, including Shawarma, spicy grilled lamb, cauliflower, potatoes. A group of four got the mixed grill plate which they felt was definitely food for six or seven people. Overall, the portions are large, one plate can definitely feed two people since it also comes with rice and a cold appetizer. The food tasted really well, the spiced lamb was extremely tender and flavored really well. I tried the batata Hara that somebody else got and loved the texture of the fries. Would always recommend Tanoor for a good heart dinner – whether dining in, picking up or catering!

If you are craving for some nice Lebanese/Mediterranean food then Tanoor is definitely a place to visit. We ordered several dishes – Stuffed Grape Leaves, Batata Harra, Muhammara, and others – Muhammara being the best. Didn’t really enjoy the Batata Harra, the fries were soggy, the staff replaced it with a new order but it was still the same.

Overall, everything tasted good except for the French fries.

What an amazing gem, so glad we stopped by! Found this place on Google maps and decided to drop by after shopping at the mall. We parked in the parking garage below which has 3 hours free for customers. Walked up the steps and the amazing smells caught us by surprise at the entrance. We waited a couple minutes and were immediately seated. The waitress Ruba was AMAZING! She was very patient and made some excellent recommendations. Ruba checked on us consistently throughout our visit. Her service was outstanding and she made the experience over the top. Our food came out very quick and my god was it delicious. The fresh pita was phenomenal. We could have not asked for a better place to have dinner. The food was extremely fresh, juicy and was packed with flavor. I was even impressed being Lebanese myself on how amazing the food is. I told my Mom she is officially fired from the kitchen (kidding). This is true Lebanese food! We will definitely be back without a doubt. I highly highly recommend this place! Go Ruba!!! ♥️

The food was good — fresh and flavorful. The staff was just fine, but the service could be a bit more organized. Overall, it was an okay experience, mainly worth it for the food.

I was really really impressed with Tanoor! Loved it. I come from Brazil and my Godfather is Lebanese, so the food here was very nostalgic to me. Finally found a place with great Baba Ghanoush and the pita bread is to die for. The most nostalgic was sfiha, tho here they’re made a lot more fancy than what I’m used to lol.
Will be coming back often.

I had an absolutely outstanding Iftar(dinner) with my family here, We enjoyed a wonderful Lebanese dish here and everything was perfect. The food was so delicious and outstanding, you can tell it’s prepared with love. A huge thank you to our waiter who was so gracious and professional—his polite attitude made us feel very welcome. It’s a clean, beautiful space with the added bonus of free parking. A must-visit!”

This restaurant is a pretty decent place! I love the atmosphere and they have cool lights.
I ordered chicken wings, I am so glad that they offered me to have the buffalo sauce on the side, because the chicken wing itself was spicy enough for me
The restaurant’s entrance is inside the building, I was confused with my friends figuring out where it was

It’s a bit difficult navigating how to get here because the parking is underground where you might get disoriented if you’re trying to find the establishment. If you are parking under it, all you have to do is walk up the stairs and enter through the first pair of doors you see because the only way to enter this restaurant is from the inside of the building

The menu seems a little bit pricey at first, but we didn’t realize that it was because all of the plates come with an appetizer. Both of us were unaware and we ended up getting the same thing, but it was really good. We ended up getting the batata Hara fries. It was so good that I had to Google what it was and turns out the online recipes is nothing like what they made in the restaurant.

The Gyro plate was delicious. I had the chicken Shawarma plate and it was OK. The only thing was my chicken was a little bit dry.

I came on a weekday for lunch and we were two out of the four people eating at the establishment so we had a nice window seat.

Definitely would return next time I’m back in Bellevue!
