Walked in at lunch and grabbed the $12 Super Special — half of a turkey club, loaded potato soup, side salad, and a tea. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The place is small, cozy, very clean, and the staff were super pleasant. Only reason for 4 stars is the portion size — perfect if you’re seriously watching your weight, but a little light for a working man with a real appetite. Still a cool little lunch spot.

I love this place I’m a New Yorker who loves her Grinders/ sub sandwiches. I love mom & pop shops and this place is just one of those to come by and relax while you eat. They get pretty busy but my food always comes out right. I only wish they were open longer on the days I am craving a grinder. A must try if you have not and although the space is small there is both indoor and outdoor parking. The on street parking can get a little packed but you get your steps in before your meal and a little after it.

Cafeteria style ordering at the register. Place was packed with a quick moving line at lunch time. However you could see 10+ tickets waiting to be filled as you placed your order.
It was a bit of a wait for 2 salads we ordered.
Both salads were impressively big, however the Chicken Fajita looked very bland and the Antipasto with Raspberry Vinaigrette, you couldn’t taste the dressing. I tasted the black olives moreso.
The sandwiches we saw looked yummy and drinks were large. Plenty of seating was good.
The crowd makes us think more lunch restaurants are needed in the downtown area.
The atmosphere/decor could use some updating to make it more current and inviting.
We did have to clean out own table with hand sanitizer and paper towels which are on each table.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Perfect small town dining. We got a Reuban sandwich and IT WAS AWESOME! The potato salad was pretty darn good to. I definitely recommend you stop in and give it a try!

Club sandwiches were good but a bit soggy. Service is just ordering at the counter but they ask for a tip when cashing out.
Quaint place near Andrew Johnson place. We enjoyed eating outside.

Small, simple, no frills local sandwich shop. Employees aren’t overly friendly, and you’re on your own to figure out which way the line goes or how to order. But I have come to learn that is how local shops operate in small towns. No time or patience for the newcomer. Anyway, I had the awesome chicken salad sandwich. It comes with mayo, which is too much mayo, if I may say so in the south. I love mayo very much and can’t get too much on a “mater sammich,” but mayo on a chicken salad sandwich is a bit much. I digress. The chicken salad had nice flavor, nothing fancy or awesome. The sandwich was lovely with the sprouts. I love sprouts on a sandwich. The melted cheese was also a nice touch. All in all, I enjoyed the sandwich. I went back a few days later for another sandwich, but went with something that had ham, roast beef, cheese, and sprouts on sourdough. It was delicious as well.

Delicious, and they were happy to accommodate gluten-free. Celiac tip, order any sandwich over the garden salad
