The place looks so beautiful inside, lots of old wooden beams, furniture and the bar were gorgeous. The staff was amazing and polite. The band started playing at 6:30pm outside and it was a bunch of very talented elderly men! They had so much fun playing some great music. I absolutely loved it!!!
Spicy cheese nuggets are super crunchy and has a great kick. Cheese wasn’t so stringy while biting into them. Very unique and delicious, never had cheese bites like these before. There’s a reason why they call them nuggets.
Burger meat didn’t have much of a taste, not much salt and pepper maybe. Buns were super fluffy and about 3x-4x the size of the meat. Probably microwaved to keep them warm. The buns didn’t have a crunch like if they were warmed up on the grill. I had a plain burger so that’s probably why it didn’t have much taste. Fries weren’t that tasty, not much flavor even with salt. Definitely not worth the $15-$16 in my opinion, maybe $8-$10.
It was 82°F outside and the AC inside could not keep up. Very hot inside, they had a few fans blowing air around. This would probably change in the future. There were a lot of flies everywhere even inside, maybe it’s fly season at this time?
Overall this place is very nice to experience. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of golf. My taste buds didn’t enjoy the burger and fries so I knocked off 1 star hopefully this review helped

Finished up golf at 7pm sat down at 7:05pm. Took me 20 minutes just to get a beer, then another 10 minutes to get a menu!! Then at 7:50pm I still didn’t have my burger. I sat down to have a quick dinner and ended up taking up my whole night . This place is an absolute joke. Kicker was there was about 20 people in the whole place and easily 5+ workers so they weren’t even that busy. Won’t be back !

Best service I’ve had at a bar. Ryan (our bartender) has years of experience and great ideas for new drinks behind the bar. Made us feel welcome and cannot emphasize the professionalism he had for my family coming on a Saturday night. Best bar in the Geneva/Elburn area!

The food was quite good from a kitchen staff that obviously cared! The pork tenderloin sandwich was exactly as good as I hoped it would be. Outdoor seating was comfy and a golf ball did sail through… fore! Nice destination for a non-golfer chick lunch.

It’s bar food. If you are rating this a 5 you are either friends with the owner, or have the taste buds of a simpleton. Based on the menu, and what was brought to the table, this place reads like someone thought it would be fun to have a restaurant, while having no restaurant or food cooking experience.
As for service, our waitress was pretty non existent, but the food runner was great and did get us everything we needed while she leaned against the wall.

Wanted to try this place out so I ordered a to go order today. When I went to pick it up I stood at the bar for at least 5 solid mintues with 4 employees standing around me. One was on his phone, one was stacking cups 2 feet in front of me, and one older guy (I hope not the manager) was just watching the bears game. None of them even acknowledged my existence and after 5 plus mintues, when someone finally just handed me a check, I left with my food. After that lackluster experience, I got home to find out that my order was wrong, and what I got was a sloppy mess regardless. Definitely will not be going back and would not recommend anyone else to either.
