We ordered masala papad, chilli mushroom, noodles, and momos, but we were informed that none of those items are available. Since we were very hungry, we ended up eating what was served, but it was not what we preferred.
We have ordered Gobi pepper fry they brought us chilli gobi fry and even after repeatedly asking they said it was Gobi pepper fry we didn’t even sense the taste as Gobi pepper but when the bill arrived our doubt got concluded that it was chilli panner fry. Attached bill for reference.
There was also confusion regarding availability. Initially, we were told that momos were not available, but later we were informed that they were freshly made, while noodles were unavailable instead. This inconsistency made us unsure whether items were out of stock or simply not being prepared.
In addition, despite having 12 draft beers on the menu, only four were available. We also had to wait about 40 minutesbefore being served water, even after asking.
We have ordered fried rice it was not at all as Chinese style it was just like some masala rice and even biryani was not fresh it was just like a tomato bath with no salt in it.We were actually true fans of Tanjore biryani’s but we don’t see the same taste now.
This experience was very different from our previous visits, where everything—from food quality to service—was excellent. We truly enjoy Tanjore, which is why we hope this feedback helps improve the service so guests can continue having the wonderful experience your restaurant is known for.
We also tried the biryani, which received mixed feedback. While some of us found it tasty, others felt it was just average. It wasn’t bad by any means, but we’ve definitely had better biryani elsewhere.
All in all, it was a good dining experience and worth a visit!
Staff was quick,friendly & efficient.
Margaritas were top notch!!!
I think they have renovated the place recently it looks chic & trendy, Big thumbs up for hygiene
We ordered spicy food, but what arrived wasn’t even close to edible. The entire dish was bright red, completely soaked in oil, and tasted like someone just mixed raw red chilli powder into it without cooking anything properly. It was impossible to eat.
It felt like a total waste of money, and genuinely disappointing.
We called the restaurant, and all we got was a basic “sorry, it won’t happen again.” But why would anyone risk ordering again after something like this? The quality was so bad it makes me seriously question if their high ratings online are even real.
And now we’re sitting here with stomach aches after just tasting the food. That alone says everything about their hygiene and standards.
Overall: terrible quality, terrible experience.
Please don’t order from this place — you’ll save yourself the regret.
