Reviews
We started with the spring veggie rolls. Nice and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. My hubby ordered the Royal Duck. This was a huge hit. Duck was cooked tender with a great sauce. Got the fried rice upgrade instead of steamed rice. I ordered the honey garlic crispy chicken with mixed veggies. So good.
A little bit on the pricey side, but food and atmosphere made up for it.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at
Tani Thai Restaurant in Buford, and it was an experience worth sharing. It is located at Old Buford City. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The menu offers a wide variety of classic Thai dishes, and each item we tried was a hit. The soup my wife ordered was not our taste. Chicken Fried Rice was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too tangy. The Duck Curry was a standout, rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat, complemented by perfectly cooked jasmine rice. I personally don’t like the coconut milk taste of it. But the Duck was well fried and tasty. We ask for hot 4 our of 5 but it was not hot at all for our Indian standard.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail—from the presentation of the dishes to the friendly and attentive service. Our server was knowledgeable and eager to help us.
Whether you’re a fan of Thai food or trying it for the first time,
Tani Thai Restaurant in Buford delivers an authentic and satisfying culinary experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their specialties!
Definitely won’t go back.
Ok, let’s end the week strong with another favorite… Tani Thai in downtown Buford. As always, you already know I’m going for my Pad See Ew noodles, and they are great. The noodles here are special—they never miss anytime I go back. My buddy Ben introduced me to this spot some years back, and his favorite drunken noodles are from here.
The appetizers and available menu items are good, but what really sets Tani Thai apart, in my opinion, is the setting and ambiance. If you’re looking for a nice place for a date with great menu options, excellent service, tasty food, and prices that won’t break the bank, Tani Thai is a top contender.
