Came here for lunch and the restaurant was quiet. Interior is pretty and there are ample seatings.

This is definitely one of the best indo fusion restaurants in the mo-city/ sugar land area. The food was fresh and had good flavor. we had the orange chicken and chicken masala, and Micheal was very helpful and an attentive waiter. I’ll definitely be coming back and eager to try more items on the menu.

Beautiful interior and location comfortably found. Food is average, prices are reasonable and quantity is good too. The food had no salt so you add on top. Felt the food didn’t met the heighten expectations but good for one time try

Highly recommend for best Indo-Chinese dishes in Houston!!! Been living in Houston all my life never had this amazing delicious food. Going back home (India/Pakistan) we know what authentic Indo-Chinese taste like but here in Houston I never felt that taste till we tried Tangra’s Daughter. If there were 10 stars available, I would have given them 10 out of 10. Every dish has its own taste, knowing they didn’t use the same sauce. Customers service was excellent. They were busy on a Saturday night but still took good care of customers. The Chef was coming to each table and asking everyone how was the food? If there’s anything we need, etc. On busy days like Friday nights and weekend, I would recommend to call them and make reservations that way you won’t be turned away or wait for a long time. These are the dishes we had: Hot and Sour Soup, Beef Pad Thai, Tangra Masala Chicken (spicy with gravy not dry), my favorite Hot Garlic Shrimp spicy (it’s very spicy, but extremely yummy), Hakka style fried rice with Vegetables, Hakka style fried rice with Chicken, drinks Piña Colada (omg it was the best).

Went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we decided to do the Iftar buffet $ 25 per person without drinks.

Food was good. I don’t know why they charge a service fee of 15%. Once we were 2 people and another time 3 people. Both the occasion they charge 15% service fee after tax. They don’t pay city/sales tax on this 15%. This is illegal in Texas. Their menu says they are service tax for 6 or more people. They offer 10% discount for cash payment.

I will definitely come back. I enjoyed my dinner today with an amazing chicken chilli and with our favorite steam rice that cannot be missed. Our server Attaib provided me an exceptional service, keeping me informed about our order requirements.

Really nice service and very polite management. I really enjoyed the chicken with hot garlic sauce. Perfect amount spice and sauce. The okra salt and pepper was crispy and I really enjoyed this and next time I will try this in Gobi style. Hands down the best hot and sour soup in Houston. I’m so glad we have Indian Chinese cuisine here in Sugar Land.

Food quality, taste, variation and Atmosphere was all great so I gave 5 stars on those and I will definitely come back to try other items. Portion were small of the price but the flavors compensate for that.

The food is exactly like the famous Tangra Masala in NYC. Every time I go to NYC, Tangra is a definite stop for a meal and now with Tangra’s Daughter in Houston I’ll be coming back every week. I heard about Tangra’s Daughter from friends and was excited to see Tangra’s Daughter open in HTX. As a family, we ate at Tangra every week and ever since moving to Texas, we missed the family ritual of weekend Tangra.
