It was my to go restaurant for so many years (around 2008-2020). Same small restaurant but I’m impressed with their upgraded interior and sitting area but disappointed with the foods . Out of three lunch specials meals we ordered, liked only one of them. It’s feels like they warmup frozen food and served us. Their chicken lollipops still good same as hot & sour soup.

One of the original and best fusion restaurants out there. I used to visit this place often and haven’t been there perhaps for last 10 years and went back today. Taste, service and even the wall clock was the same as before. Price increased a bit. The reason it lost one star is because the place is small, parking is a pain and the place could use a little modernization. Food is still great and portion is still big.

I lived here in the early 2000s and visited this restaurant many times. 23 years later, the recipe is as tasty and consistent as it was when I was a kid.
Love the quick service, keep cash on you in case their card terminal does not function.
Soups and chili chicken gravy along with American chop suey is very popular and tasty!
Chicken lollypop is an absolute must!!

Came in on a weekday afternoon. Tried ordering something from menu, but was told that it wasn’t available and to choose something else. Ordered my food, and it came out suspiciously fast… under five minutes and two entrees were ordered.
Food lacked flavor and chicken was a bit tough. Halfway through eating my meal, I look up at the ceiling above my table to see some mold. I wasn’t too thrilled about this. Considering the temperature of the restaurant had me sweating within a minute of sitting in there, I can imagine how the heat and humidity is making this mold thrive.
Service wasn’t great, but they automatically add their 15% charge to the bill.
Probably won’t be returning here.

This Restaurant is amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food came fast and was nice and hot. The food also tasted really delicious. All of the items we ordered were well cooked. Prices were decent. I would definitely visit again soon with friends and family, and would also recommend to other people.
*Just a friendly reminder, this place is Cash only*

The employees were having lunch and looked annoyed when we walked into the restaurant. We placed our order and they approached us after a while and asked if we have a pet. It was a turtle inside a carry-on bag far away. They said that it would create issues with customers and management. We asked to speak to a manager they said she is not on site. She called and said it was ok for now. They had no signage anywhere in the store about not allowing pets (only service animals.) It would have been nice if they approached us professionally before we placed our order. We suggested they have signage in the store and online as it is not stated anywhere that pets are not allowed and that to a small turtle.

I’m shocked I haven’t reviewed this spot before. I love, love, LOVE this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for what seems like over ten years, but have only recently re-discovered it as I live in Manhattan and just don’t get to Queens as often anymore.
It’s worth the trip. Every single time I visit I have been satisfied and filled up with delicious food. I usually get chili tofu and pakoras but I also get sizzling chili with tofu and vegetables. The only thing that wasn’t AMAZING was the hot and sour soup, it was overwhelmed by cilantro.
But I highly recommend this place for vegetarian Indo-Chinese cuisine.
