The restaurant is known for its unique take on Chinese cuisine, which is infused with Indian spices and flavors. The atmosphere at Tangra Masala is casual and relaxed. The dining room is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, and there is a large bar area where guests can enjoy drinks before or after their meal. The service at Tangra Masala is friendly and attentive, and the staff is always happy to make recommendations.

Great food. My family has eaten there 3 times. Everything we order has come out great. The only complaint I have is that the menu needs to be simplified and more straightforward. They have an electronic menu and some items are different than the paper menu and it can be confusing. So far our favorites are the crispy ginger chicken and paneer pakora.

This restaurant is my absolute favourite. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Their quality has not changed at all, and they remain providing outstanding food and service. If I could have a last meal besides my mother’s food, it would be Tangra Masala’s chilli chicken (gravy, extra spicy), vegetarian Singapore noodles, and paneer pakoras. Thank you Tangra Masala team for always serving such great food and making my stomach and heart smile gleefully. (They offer takeout and delivery too)

Such a horrible food and horrific experience! I ordered chicken Momos and soup for my kids from this restaurant. They sent me burnt momos and burnt chicken soup! I received the order in 1 Hr 50 mins and food was completely inedible. On calling them, 3 ladies spoke and continuously argued that momos can’t be burnt. They asked me to send the food back at 10 night. I have never dealt with such unprofessional and rude staff. I was a regular client but now I quit!

One of the original and best fusion restaurants out there. I used to visit this place often and haven’t been there perhaps for last 10 years and went back today. Taste, service and even the wall clock was the same as before. Price increased a bit. The reason it lost one star is because the place is small, parking is a pain and the place could use a little modernization. Food is still great and portion is still big.

Unfortunately giving only 3 stars. Have been getting food for over 4 years but slowly less and less. And now not ordering from there at all. Portions became smaller, prices higher ( which is acceptable because of inflation) and food just not tasty. If you come back to the old taste and portions definitely would start ordering again…

Honestly I’m not a fan of Chinese food .Its not like that i hate Chinese they are cute and cool anyway ( ) . This place is . They Only take cash and they do add tip to the bill . The Lollipop chicken is the best appetizer here !! Singapore noodle is authentic and delicious.Chicken Manchurian is 5/3 . The corn soup is Okay . Overall the food was great Alhamdulillah .. the vibe was off when we walked in! But i saw 2 beautiful desi women were sitting at the front table and the table next to me . So I didn’t care about the vibe that much . Thanks to them they made my day .

Have been eating at this place for years since moving to NYC. Always bought a nostalgic feeling. But it’s been an absolute failure for the last year or so. Most of the items are burnt, black and flavorless. I’m not sure if it’s cost savings from reusing oils multiple times or just using amateur cooks. Ordered Manchurian for the last time and it was total mush. I rarely put review but could not contain myself. Sad to see the state of this restaurant
